I would bet money this isn't Ford delaying your order. This smells like a Dealer issue...either with putting a 99 Priority Code in for it and not realizing it or they simply do NOT have allocation for the Maverick. Dealer MUST have allocation for Ford to even consider building that vehicle in the Dealers order bank. Ford won't tell you about Dealer allocation, only the Dealer can tell you that info. Sounds like you are still getting e-mails from Ford, which indicates your order IS in the system. I would contact the General Manager. Best to walk in...but a phone call might work.
Oh I have it's still waiting to be scheduled, like many others are.

445 Days ago I placed a routine Ecoboost lariat order with a 4 mos. eta. I promise Ford will deliver Expectations, Emails, Excuses and Explanations. They will do all that EXCEPT deliver or even schedule my Maverick. So basically guess or second guess it's all a crap shoot with them.
That’s insane, got to be a dealer screw up on the order, priority code, allocation or something unless you have constrained items on the order. Meet face to face with the GM have him prove your a priority 10 and have him call ford while your sitting there.

Any news about scheduling this week? I haven't seen any posts....
What I saw on Facebook from Tommy says Cleanup. But last week was supposed to be March and didn't seem like much. So hard to say how much gets done. Wonder if @fordvideoguy has much previewing this week?

It's not as simple as "dragging and dropping" AWD over to the hybrid. I wish that was the case, but there is a lot of engineering that goes into each drivetrain.
Nothing is drag and drop but much of the hard work is already done. Ford is already producing vehicles on the same C2 platform (Escape, Corsair) with the same 2.5L / eCVT Hybrid combination. They can go with the mechanical design from the Escape Hybrid AWD or the electrical rear drive from the Corsair Hybrid AWD. The Maverick was obviously already designed from the beginning to accommodate an AWD Hybrid.

Yeah, just skip the extra engineering and testing and certifications required and start slapping them together and collect all that easy extra profit pronto!
Considering I have worked in Ford, GM and Chrysler plants, automating their factories, I have a pretty good idea of what is involved ;)

I can for MY 24. Let's say the lithium battery is the constraint on Hybrids. They can't get any more. But they can add AWD to the Hybrid and it only cost them an extra $500. But they charge the customer an extra $2000 for the AWD. Ford nets an extra $1500 profit per AWD Hybrid.
The reality of that thought is absurdly insane, dream on

Yes, why should Ford make high margin Hybrid AWD Lariats when they can keep making low margin Hybrid XLs?

Because, in Ford's thinking, when you struck gold, why bother looking for diamonds? They will pump out EB XLTs all the live long day and take all that money to the bank with a smile on their face.

The Escape/Corsair debacle is more or less my point exactly. Ford has the ability to make an AWD PHEV Escape, because they already make an AWD PHEV Corsair, but they refuse to do so. In what world does that make sense? Answer: in the world that they can charge an extra ~$12k for the equivalent Corsair model and enough people who desperately want that configuration will pay for it.

Escape HEVs and PHEVs have MASSIVE market demand (order bank debacle similar-ish to the Maverick), yet Ford continually underproduces them (partly due to supply constraints) and overproduces basic ICE Escapes because enough people go to the dealership and will be "happy enough" with one.

I'm starting to wonder to what extent they actually "custom build" our trucks. Based on the constraints lists it looks a lot like they've already made up their mind ahead of time on what they're going to build. I wonder to what extent they actually try to adapt what they're going to build based on the actual retail orders. It almost seems like they just stick to their own build plan and assign the trucks to orders based on dealer allocations and then just paint them according to what was ordered. There really aren't that many configurations of trims and packages. The only real customization would be if an order has one-off factory addons (like mud guards or trailer hitch), and we all know how that affects your chances of getting scheduled.

Thank you for switching. That is one more chance my hybrid might see the light of day.

You can change the trim as well. I swapped my XL Hybrid out to a XLT EB in mid December. Added Lux Pack as well. Didn't have any issue with that.
If you were eligible for the special offer do you still get it after changing the order to an EB?

I was not eligible myself so I can't attest to this at all. I've been waiting a long time for my Maverick, but not that long.

I thought I read something somewhere that the private offer was yours to do with it as you please, as long as it goes towards a Ford Maverick. Not sure if changes to engine/trim influences it.

Considering adding the CoPilot 360 to my XLT order. According to this constraint list it shows the Safety Pack(Copilot 360), which I assume is the combination of the Copilot 360 Package and the additional Assist Package for the Lariat is under capacity at 51%. Does anyone know how this percentage breaks down for just the CoPilot 360 Package by itself for the XLT? Maybe @fordvideoguy knows?

How many people after awhile will move on to other brands? I understand this statement will have people attack me. However Ford over and over again is dropping the ball. If Toyota releases the Maverick competitor, it will eat Ford's Lunch. Lagging production does not help Ford.
I've waited patiently for 15 months. This was going to be my first Ford. I've watched Ford change the game they use to select orders for production multiple times and cancel orders they committed to build and then push them back in line in front of me. Now I watch Ford select and build hybrids for folks with new MY23 orders down the road from me. Plus, my last visit was less than satisfying when my dealer said that there is no way he can assure that my vehicle will get built this year. Almost sounds like they know something about their allocations they do not want to reveal to me. So yes, I am really tiring of waiting with no assurance that my hybrid order will be fulfilled this year.

The CP 360 has a 60% capacity with 51% of orders with that package. The CP 360 Assist package (which requires the Lariat Luxury Package) is 25% capacity with 8% of orders with the package.
