  1. Dual Exhaust on a Hybrid

Now that's a cosmetic mod I really like to see, side exit behind or in front of rear tires or even out the tail end. I always liked the look of dual exhaust.
  2. Should my factory tires be replaced after 26 months?

Yep, I agree with all the previous post that it's time for new tires with 4/32 of tread depth left, especially before wet/snowy winter weather. I know tire threads have deep debates like those of oil brands and change frequency  . That being said, since I'm a Michelin only fan, I would...
  3. Should my factory tires be replaced after 26 months?

well some of the factory tires haven't had a great reputation for high mileage, part of that could be beyond the tires fault. Did they give you the existing tread depth on the tires vs the tread depth on new ones?
  4. Front seat angle fix?

One of the "similar threads" at the bottom of page provides some info. The search feature might also give additional info. https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/uncomfortable-seat-pitch-angle-solutions.73102/
  5. Lariat or well spec'd XLT?

More desirable features for those that like them or useful to their needs would be one way of putting it.
  6. WSJ Article on Mav XL w/2.0EB - It's Funny - Author Not a 2.0EB Fan

Yep! It use to be that journalists, etc. were truly knowledgeable and respected for providing reliable information, i.e. Walter Cronkite and the likes, now day's a large majority are just regurgitating various pieces of information from where ever they find it or rewording something the...
  7. WSJ Article on Mav XL w/2.0EB - It's Funny - Author Not a 2.0EB Fan

Just shows it doesn’t take much of a brain to write articles and their awards, totally useless article that wouldn’t help most prospective buyers. Sorta like many of our country’s public schools, they’ve been dumbing them down for the past 20 years to get the numbers to higher ups look good...
  8. WSJ Article on Mav XL w/2.0EB - It's Funny - Author Not a 2.0EB Fan

WSJ must be hurting trying to find talent. The author appears to be writing his first article out of high school or still in high school and doesn't know his as* from a hole in the ground. Worthless click bait from what was pasted from the article I assume.
  9. Tires Axles and Shaking

Yep sounds like the CV axles probably the issue
  10. Flock makes changes amid backlash of license plate reader network..🤔

Well I can agree with the concerns, there's pro's and con's in technology and unfortunately the misuse of it which has come to light. But to me looking at society today, we're being videoed most everywhere we go, most every business has cameras inside and outside, long with a very large portion...
  11. Where to buy extended warranty in Florida?

I would assume your local ford dealer. Show them the prices Granger sells them for and see how close or far apart they are. Also check Flood Ford, no idea if there allowed in FL or not. Also look thru the different threads in the "Similar Threads" at the bottom of this page along with the search...
  12. 2028 Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

Seems like I have seen something where they drive up and swap the battery pack in china, japan or somewhere. sorta like a quick oil change outfit. no idea of the brand(s)?
  13. 2028 Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

Yep, wouldn't surprise me a bit if they had control of all that
  14. 2028 Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

That's a good dream, but I don't see that happening, particularly with the big 3, that would take money out of their pocket, Heck they already make them as difficult as they can get by with for the common guy to work on beyond the basics and would love to make it as close to having to return the...
  15. 2028 Ford Fathom EV Pickup ($28,350 Starting Price) - News & Info

Notice this Telo article today. Telo is raising the tow rating on its Mini-sized electric truck to 8,000 lbs, up from the 6,600 lbs it previously advertised. Seems to me if you get that much weight inertia pushing that piss ant vehicle i could loose control...
  16. bedliner and cover?

see this previous thread. one of the post is from one that has the full coverage bed rug, now "Husky". There's several other members that have them. I have the version that just covers the bed floor and tailgate and the installation was easy peasy. They are AWESOME products, Highly Recommend...
  17. Half shaft replacement question (recall 25N09)

I agree, I wouldn't think Ford is going to replace much of anything if it's not broken/causing the issues/symptoms. I think the dealer techs have to return many of the defective parts to Ford for review so I don't think any dealer is going to just put new ones on when there's nothing wrong with...
  18. Tonneau cover suggestions?

Welcome to the forum!!! Lots of good info daily along with what's been covered over the years. As info, that search box in the top right is really helpful along with the "similar threads" section at the bottom for your future reference. Glenn provided a good link previously. There's lots of...
  19. Half shaft replacement question (recall 25N09)

If your NOT having any CV fault issues, let it be, why waist an extended warranty on something that's not an issue! Hold on to your extended CV axle warranty and use it only if you start having CV fault issues or until it gets close to the end of 10 year 150K mile warranty that 25N09 covers...
  20. Is rust an issue with drop-in bedliner?

I can also say the Bed Rug is AWESOME. I have one on top of my spray in liner since it's Easy On The Knees. Mine only covers the bed floor and tailgate but they have a version that covers the the bed floor-bed sides & tailgate...
