What’s your mpg on the diesel? Be nice if they did a diesel with the hybrid
A diesel option would be great for those that primarily have a highway commute.
I’m coming from VW Sportwagen TDI, loved the efficiency and torque (after tuned), but my short commute was eating DPFs and let to me shopping for hybrids.

I had 2Jetta diesels, add standing a quiet engine 58 mpg on the highway going 80! What are DFP‘s?

In the cold Michigan temperatures I averaged 24-26 and I drive approximately 80% hwy to work & (40 miles each way) now it’s warming up I’m around 29 and slowly climbing. I have only been using the gas pump stop (per owners manual) and yesterday had 375.04 miles w/13.06 gallons and the “lie-o-meter” in dash saw 29.1 mpg avg so within 1mpg or less. Here’s a screenshot yesterday after my fill up setting cruise @ 50mph on the way back it really loves. I have FX4 = no eco mode & I only use regular unleaded.

Diesel particulate filter. If you had an ALH or a BEW they didn’t have one.

I was wounding what all the owners who already have their AWD Maverick are getting for MPG. I hopefully get on the estimated date of 11/11.
With 4k tow package and 4500miles thus far I’m around 28.2 average. It drives to work and occasional material hauling, 17miles to work one way. Half is highway I set cruise to 72, other half is 45mph

Just did a 465'ish mile trip, some town, highway up to 79 mph cruising and 55-60 back roads, my truck has our oil separator and intake on it, dash indicated 31.1 and doing the actual math I got 30.12. Very happy with the truck.
I have a '22 2.0 Ecoboost, AWD, 4K Tow Pkg., Lariat, FX4, I have driven it 11,500 miles. I have never gotten more than a 25.5 M.P.G. city/highway average over 2500 miles, and that is feathering the gas pedal and using Premium gas.
When I am on the highway I usually run 75-85 M.P.H. but 65% of my driving is city driving and I "baby" it trying to get the best M.P.G.
Resetting the calculator while on the highway I have never, ever been able to achieve more than 25 M.P.G. I was expecting to get at least 30 M.P.G. strictly highway.
Happy with the truck overall, but not with the M.P.G.

I find that anything over 70mph exponentially lowers gas mileage. I usually keep it right at 65-70mph on roads with a 65mph speed limit and even with the larger tires typically get indicated anywhere from 30 to 35mpg. Once I go over 70mph that drops into the twenties (indicated).

It is almost certainly your driving. Discussing fuel mileage with clients always makes me want to throat punch myself. Just driving my truck (spec'd exactly like yours) "normally" meaning I do not accelerate fast and drive no more than 8 over the posted limit I am easily getting 26.xxx and that is with me sitting in my truck listening to podcasts with the engine running for 30 minutes everyday during my lunch.

I'm retired live in suburb neighborhood, lots of stop signs and red lights, idling alot and A/C running. I still in very early break in period. My driving so far is to local grocery store, local lunch spots, various local errands and carrying/picking up grandkids from school (idling in car line). So far the dash shows 22.5 mpg. I didn't buy it for gas mileage and i know it will get better in time, and definately better on interstate roads. Mine's a Lariat, with AWD and 4K towing

I've had mine about a week now, 700+ miles of mixed driving, averaging 28. I've seen 30 on stretches of freeway (65-70mph), low 20's in town.

Considering it's been cold (20-40'), winter gas, tight engine, I'm thrilled with 28 at this stage.

I just drove mine (2.0 AWD 4K tow) 1600 miles home to NY/VT border from Iowa. All highway driving usually right at the posted speed limit (mostly 70 MPH) got me 32.5 MPG on the dash readout. I found that the Maverick's tires were substantially over-inflated at 44 PSI and it seems that it would probably account for some extra MPGs. I'll change the tire pressure soon and see if it makes a difference.

I did notice some quirks in my fuel economy on the trip. The truck's gas tank was full when I picked it up at Granger Motors. It started off the first day gradually improving MPG from about 31 to 32.5 by about mid-day to the end of the day.

After my first overnight, I filled the truck with high-test (it was cheap in Missouri!). Mileage that day dropped to 32.1 all day. At the next fill-up I chose regular unleaded and my mileage returned to 32.5 MPG. That surprised me. This was all in the relatively flat terrain of IA, MO, IL, IN. I continued to get 32.5 MPG except in the hills of WV and western MD where it dropped to about 32.1.

When I got to NJ/NY, I stopped and had a BAK BAKflip MX4 hard folding tonneau cover installed. From then until home, my mileage dropped to an indicated 32.1 MPG. I did a 150-mile highway trip today and it remained at 32.1 MPG. I had guessed my mileage might go up with the tonneau cover on, not down!

Now that I'm home, my driving will return to the usual 90% hilly rural roads/10% highway. And I'll be dropping the tire pressure to the high side of the recommended figure. It will be interesting to see how the Maverick does.
