My truck is right at 5k miles. Consistently getting 500 +- 10 miles to the empty reading. I takes 16.2 to 16.3 gallons to fill it, so I just call it a little over 30 mpg. I am in eco, usually full time and about 80 percent highway. Last week I started in sport for the first time by mistake. Was panicking that something was wrong with the red light and motor reving up and the S on the screen for the first three blocks in town!! :ROFLMAO:

EDIT: My bad!! Did not read that the title was AWD. Mine is FWD....

I got mine nov 10. Today is dec 10.

I just hit 3000 miles on my xlt, fx4.
I have never reset the trip meter so I am still on trip 1. It says 26.3mpg. That is probably 90% hiway at 60,, 70 mph.

I haven't done the math myself.

Just went over my first 1,000 miles and averaged 26.3 so far. Last tank was 27.5 with mixed driving. Winter will probably start dropping it down some now.

I don't drive overly aggressive, but I am only averaging 19.2 with 100% city driving. I barley leave a 5 mile radius from my house and it is all stop lights and four way stops, so that's probably part of the reason.
Same here 19 to 20 mpg. Not sure how people are getting 24 mpg? Must be no stop lights, stop signs or traffic. Maybe because mine has only 2k miles on it. Break in??

I am at 8k miles now and my city mileage has not improved. I have taken a few highway trips since my original post, and got around 30 mpg.

To mavericksport.

You guessed it. 45 miles each way to work. Mostly level, straight hiway with only a few stop lights. Then 5 miles around the city with only a few stop lights to get in and out of the city and take my lunch break.

I use lots of cruise control, and my mav is perky enough I don't feel the need to really work the gas pedal hard.

I use the cruise control a lot to keep me legal. It's easy to find myself over the speed limit.

Same here. XLT AWD FX4. Highway long stretches I can get 30 mpg. Town is barely 20 mpg. Cheers

Strange, I am in Houston, drive with decent sized loads in the bed, and I average 85% or so city driving. I have never gotten less that 23mpgs (calculated by hand) I have seen as good as 32mpgs 100% interstate at 77mph for the first half tank. I am at 17k on the odometer. Also, I run premium and stay away from stations I've noticed getting worse mileage from. Long story short, I average 25/31 with a 4k package

Broke 10k mikes just before Christmas, with my routine and heavy foot I'm a steady 27.5 MPG without trying - and always with 87 octane.

oddly I just decided to try premium fuel for once, and I'm now steady at 28.5 MPG and haven't changed anything, so I may keep using premium for a few tanks to see if I'm getting a noticeable difference.

One actual Interstate trip was when I picked it up 7 weeks ago - 255 miles at 74 with cruise control. Averaged 34.5 mpg. Other driving is mostly small town and rural roads with overall average of 27-28 mpg.
