Worst MPG from AWD 2.0 EcoBoost Owners?

No trade it in for a Hybrid, Mine is getting 46.5 MPG ON 1ST TANK

Yes. That is not normal and should be looked at by a dealer.

I've got 22000 KM on mine at this point and the highest I've seen mine go is 11L/100 and that was straight from the dealer in a blizzard.

Drove it all through winter with Falken Wild Peak AT tires.

My Mav is bone stock and the worst mileage has been 25 mpg and the best has been 32 mpg, running mid grade gas

Usually I am between 26 and 28, but a couple of tanks of gas back, I got 22.2. I am thinking I must have fueled up with a pretty heavy Ethanol blend and/or idled more than usual on that tank. Have a big car trip coming up so excited to see how it does on that. I haven't decided if I will change the oil before and after or just after. I am nowhere close to needing it yet.

Mine did that for a while 11.5 improved after a while 10.5 now normal to 5.8 highway check your tire pressure mine were over inflated took about 6000km to break in

i Own 9 hybrids and one eco the life time mpg after 23k is only 20.9 all of the hybrid are averaging 42 mpg the eco is getting traded in on a hybrid in 2 weeks

Wow some of these numbers are way low, I have a 21 Ranger EB drive sport mode a lot around town and getting about 19 mpg. Something ain’t right with the lower numbers…

Still waiting for the hybrid Maverick..

Picked up mine on 4/26 so almost 3 months and at 751 miles. Yea, I work from home so don't drive much. I'm at 20.6 - mostly local driving, very little interstate but was expecting better than this? I don't drive really agressive so it's disappointing.

The 2.0L ecoboost has always been inconsistent with mpg it seems from my observations over the years with mostly Escapes since they have had them since 2013. Some owners say they can break 30 mpg, others say they get in the low 20's. Driving habits, location, ?????

I just completed an 800+ mile trip from Greenville, SC to Hudson Valley New York and averaged 32MPG. This included runs through a few mountain passes and Cruise generally set at 75MPH. I was very happy about getting above the EPA est. I believe that if I set the cruise at 70 MPH or below, I could have easily averaged 35 MPG since I had a 200 flat stretch after my only fill up of 34.5 MPG.

I got about 9 mile per gallon towing a trailer into 45+ mph winds driving 70mph through wyoming back in December. 1500 mile haul was rough with those kind of winds most of the way from Texas to Montana.

Whew! At that kind of mpg, I’d have to turn around and just let it blow me back to Texas.

20.6mpg was my worst tank so far, within the first 750 miles, and average temperatures in Michigan under 35 degrees on AWD with 4k tow package. It's been just above 24mpg for the last 3 tanks.
