I was wounding what all the owners who already have their AWD Maverick are getting for MPG. I hopefully get on the estimated date of 11/11.

Just did a 465'ish mile trip, some town, highway up to 79 mph cruising and 55-60 back roads, my truck has our oil separator and intake on it, dash indicated 31.1 and doing the actual math I got 30.12. Very happy with the truck.

I have been getting 28.8 - 31.2 indicated, hand calculations are always Ă—/- 1/2 gallon of indicated. This has been 80% highway miles, all in normal drive mode.

I can live with that all day long for the commute.

Now, Sport mode and a heavy foot trades mpg for smiles and it is worth every second.

You really need to put a couple thousand miles on it first so that everything breaks in before you really look at mileage.IMHO

Brought mine home on a trailer, so it only got a total of 1/2 mile on it today... Dealer is 150 miles away and I needed work done on my Super Duty... Hence trailering my Maverick.. The dealer filled it up with fuel this morning, so it's ready to go.. My first trip in it will be to physical therapy in the morning..

Just finished my first tank of dealer-filled 87 octane with 10% ethanol. 348 miles and an all city average of 23.9MPG. No real highway driving, since we trailered it home. When I fueled up, it was telling me that I was 29 miles to empty. Not much more than a gallon in the tank.

I filled it with 87 octane ethanol-free (16.006 gallons) and will report back..

I don't drive overly aggressive, but I am only averaging 19.2 with 100% city driving. I barley leave a 5 mile radius from my house and it is all stop lights and four way stops, so that's probably part of the reason.

Did you verify odometer accuracy?

You wont see numbers close to 30mpg until you get that sucker on the highway, I have seen a range from 26 to 31 MPG in my AWD FX4 just depends on how and where you drive it.
