What is everyone getting for MPG with the ecoboost? Mine averages between 35 and 38 MPG! That's way above the 30 MPG the EPA claimed not complaining just want to know if this is about what everyone else is getting. Mine is a 2.0 Lariat FWD no mods yet!!!

The "instant MPG" isn't the best indicator for overall FE. Check your average over the course of each fill-up, and hand calculate to verify.

It is clearly marked AVERAGE but I agree instant doesn't give you the true picture but that is not what is displayed. Even on paper it makes 35-38, the only time it hasn't is with a trailer behind it and even the 26 MPG is what I got. I just wanted to know what everyone else is getting I've seen the threads where 18 mpg is there I'm not comparing it to a Hybrid. Thanks for pointing out how to calculate gas mileage.

If you're going 55mph to and from work 20 miles I could absolutely see mid 30's. I feel like if I had roads I could do 55 on continuously I'd be above 50mpg on the hybrid.

Yeah, that screen can be reset at any time. I.E while your going downhill for a quarter mile, and it might show 80 mpg average.

What's your trip milage since fill-up screen show?

not the best screen to share. you need a trip indicator with over 1,000 miles imo.

i just drove from philadelphia pa to jacksonville fl, on 89 octane, fairly fast, not caring at all about gas mileage for a second. 70-85mph the entire trip

and got 32mpg.

Something doesn't smell right. I have 1500 miles on mine with probably about 60% city and am right around 24 mpg, which is right were the average is per the EPA. I am not hard on the gas bu any means. I do have 4k tow and AWD.

How big is your gas tank? Your dash says 384 miles until empty. If you have a 16 gallon tank and 384 miles until empty, that is 25 miles per gallon. Something is not adding up.

towing or fx4 package? Is it mostly highway? What average speed?

There is something skewing your results.

This is about what I'm getting as well in stop and go traffic but mine is not even close to break in miles yet.
