Bama, i have been telling the other members, glad you didnt get hurt. How many miles, build date? please.

Just to say it again this is going to be the next obstacle for the hybrid, we think the battery cable lug is a big deal, no comparison!

This again is all hybrids.

And this is one I dont want to fix, pull engine.

Yep. Not like the old days when pulling an engine was relatively simple.

You're welcome.
BTW, I've had the same experience. Happened maybe 3 times since I've had the vehicle. Took it in to the dealer and they found "nothing" wrong. Your description is dead on accurate. Feels like you've gone over a shoulder warning one finds on CA freeways.
Whatā€™s your mileage?

Damn, I sure miss the good old days when our major concern was trying to locate the mysterious rattle somewhere in the dash,

just started to notice this at 2000miles. early may build. some shudder when ICE kicks on or off. more so at slower stop and go speeds. more with the breaking ICE turn off than on. not major yet...

Some shudder is normal. What is concerning is if you experience the feeling as if you're going over a row of cuts into the pavements. Only analogy I can think of is the cuts into the pavement made along the freeway shoulder to help people realize they're drifting into it. It's a much different feeling than when the ICE kicks in.

Adding my experience to the list:

December build, 13k miles.Shuddering twice in one week. Happened almost in the exact same spot - cold engine going up a slight incline -15-20 mph, electric to ICE conversion then boom (sounds like hitting rumble strips).

My dealers have been clueless with the under shield recall. No way Iā€™m dropping it off for a week to tell me they canā€™t replicate the issue.

Ford, whatā€™s up?
