Didn’t see any on a regular basis up until about a week ago. Some stuff must’ve delivered in my area or something. I’m seeing about one a day when out and about.
You were fine with all of this stuff before Covid, but now that you have to wait for the things you want due to supply constraints, you’re throwing a fit about how everything was better when it was made in the US, as if everything magically picked up and moved overseas in 2020. Lol
Hybrids have a shudder that has to do with the transmission/flywheel, haven’t heard of Ecoboosts doing this. You might do a google search about other cars that share the same engine and see if maybe there’s a known issue with this particular drivetrain.
Our economy isn’t nearly as propped up by the car market as it is real estate. The auto loans, as similar as they are to what the banks were doing with mortgages in the 2000s, are not nearly as much of a liability. I will say that the auto industry is indeed propped up by these shitty loans, so...
We’ll all be kicking ourselves in a few years when very gently used, basically like new Mavericks are plentiful and for sale on dealer lots for well under $15,000.
Thoroughly confused. Seems redundant. You have Spotify compatibility on the stock head unit already by way of CarPlay/Android Auto. And it’s playing on the stock head unit in your photo. So the Car Thing is just kinda there? I guess? For when you don’t want to use Spotify on the stock head unit...
I kinda hate that Ford has the market cornered on this. If literally anyone else can bring a cheap Mav competitor to market and get them shipped in a few months, I’d ditch this shitshow in 2 seconds. Unless it’s made by GM, in which case I’d rather wait (I hate their interiors, design choices...
“Gayle,” there’s a very helpful thread here full of morons who have openly admitted to leaving their keys in their Mavericks. Head over there and see where those trucks are located, and talk to those owners to learn what not to do.
I’m sure you’re just a sweet old lady who is definitely named...
I would argue that driving that slow on most streets would not only infuriate everybody who is actually going the speed limit, but would also be unsafe as you’re mostly just a giant obstacle in the middle of the road. This is dumb and I actively discourage it.
It’s also completely new. I would never, ever, ever buy a first year GM engine, let alone a completely novel design for them like a 3 cylinder.
That being said, this car looks cool and the value proposition is really solid. I hope it’s a good reliable car. And I’m saying that as someone who...
Still going to bury my head in the sand and pretend that my base model hybrid with no options will be one of the few early ones built since it has no constraints or add ons.
