Is there really a need for you to make asinine character attacks to make a point?
By your reasoning, we have no need for laws or safety guidelines if we all just use common sense. The risk level driving a hybrid compared to driving an overloaded vehicle is not the same. It seems all you're...
Thanks for your insights and comments.
The comparison is clearly between the Maverick hybrid and an off road capable Tacoma. (See my screenshot of the title screen). I did not go deep into the video, so perhaps a different title screen is needed to target more of what the video was trying to...
I get what you're saying, but these load limits are not generated from a dartboard. Those who designed and engineered these vehicles have much more than experience (as much as you may have) behind their recommendations. There is no "experience" or "common sense" column in the load capacity...
I don't see how one can compare the Maverick hybrid to their off-road Tacoma. They're not comparable vehicles. 'While I appreciate the post, I think the video is downright silly. Compare that Tacoma to the Maverick Tremor and you might have a video worth my time.
While I compliment the Maverick on its towing abilities, I just have a problem with pushing the limits. So many variations one can encounter on the road; crosswinds, caught in between two semis, road debri/hazards, etc., that can make an already borderline tow situation unstable and lead to a...
Lots going on for you . . . pride of ownership, self-respect and valuing the hard work you put in to purchase the vehicle. Also, and perhaps not as apparent, respect for those who labored to design and build it. In many ways our possessions are an extension of ourselves and how we view the world.
There are some CEO's who do look at their emails or at least have issues brought to their attention by a subordinate. I once had an issue with B of A and wrote to the CEO. I had a response the next day and problem was taken care of, so it's worth an email.
I purchased the $10 HUD from Temu and it worked fine for about two weeks and then it started to off-read my mph by 20-30 units. Got a refund and applied it to a bit more expensive unit $18 and it seems to keep a better GPS reading. Time will tell.
Has it been that long? No doubt, we needed the rain to roll back the drought, but it will be nice to see the sun and like you I'm looking forward to sprucing up the Maverick. Probably time for another ceramic spray on coat. Looking forward to seeing your rig.
We do? I'll have to explore that more closely. I don't see how an app would be able to access that information as suggested by another member. Seems to me it would have to have some connection to the Maverick's computers and not just your phone, but I've learned to never underestimate the...
