I have set set of plastic (composite?) ones from Walmart. Work fine on my current cars (no Maverick yet). I do worry about their structural strength over time and try to keep them out of the sun.

I also like the Race Ramps. Those plastic one just slide forward when you try to drive up them.

Do what you want but i would rather have good solid wood ramps over these foreign made metal ramps.i enjoy living😁
Me too, and they are so easy to build for a lot less the $300 Race Ramps.

Food for thought....instead of ramps, consider a jack & jack stands.

Advantage is not only easier accessibility getting under the vehicle, you can also rotate your tires while the oil is draining.

Never realized how hard the metal ramps were to handle till I got the plastic ones.

Walmart ramps have 12,000 lbs rating and are $49.99. Can definitely recommend.

My first ramps and I went with the Harbor Freight one over the WM one. WM which sells RhinoRamps has too much open spaces on the under side. Those are weak spots to me. HF brand I think is stronger. I'm thinking as honeycomb.

I've got steel ramps, wood ramps, floor jacks and jack stands but what I most often use is the leveling blocks from my motor home. For my cars, truck and even garden tractor.

have 3 sets, if they hold a motor home you're good.

I think I am going to do my own oil changes on my Maverick. It has been a few years since I have done oil changes and I was wondering If I could get some feedback. 2.0 Eco (no 4K or off-road packages).

Does anyone have a ramp recommendation/link for a set of ramps your use? I prefer to get one that is low enough the maverick can clear without using any wood boards, etc?

Also, if you have a recommendation for an oil catch pan you like, that would be great also.

Any other tips or tricks regarding the oil change on 2.0 Ecoboost Maverick, let me know!

Thanks!
Yes. I have a recommendation. These are my ramps that I use and they are excellent. Far superior to to any composite ramp that you can buy and I don’t have to worry about these collapsing, although I still use a secondary floor jack as a safety catch just in case. This is from my post on the Fomoto drain valve. Have you considered a Fumoto for oil changes?.

Can you post a link to the YouTube video that you mention as I would like to build one like this.
