I agree, I would sometimes like to leave my sunglasses and phone down there but, worry that it could invite trouble with them in plain sight. Maybe Ford should redesign this area for an optional accessory cover on future models. Until then, maybe @MABETT can come up with something for us.
I'm concerned about how these will age. It appears the installation (of at least the Velcro) is permanent. Can they be removed cleanly if at some point you no longer need or want them? Otherwise they do have a good appearance from what I seen here.
Congrats to you! This is a most difficult feat, especially when you can't control what traffic ends up on the road with you. I've ended up satisfied to usually get about 700 miles to a tank. I know of no one who has done 900 let alone over 1000. I do know the Maverick hybrid is capable of...
I did notice this on my '24 when near new, I have not noted it any time recently. Don"t know if weatherstrip got broken in or if I just haven't accessed the rear at right time lately. There are some other posts about this at the bottom of this page, but have not heard of this problem for a while.
On my hybrid I am more and more amazed at the great fuel mileage it returns without even trying. If I try, it rewards even more! If I don't think about it, there's no worry because I know the mileage will still be better than any comparable vehicle made. I'm sure many EcoBoost owners feel the...
@Mavster Mechanic, Glad you chimed in as you are the discoverer of "The Tricks". I had already started a response here as follows for OP also.
OP, now is the time to start using "The Tricks" to preserve your battery, you will be paying for the next one even if you have the extended warranty...
They do if your contemplating upgrading to a newer vehicle and don't have to have it now. As it was, I waited 13 months for the Maverick I've got and am happy that it's a '24 and not a '23.
ASSumed it was just the rear seat(s), not a cargo bay that defined weather a truck or not for this tax. Ford did the same thing on the Transit Connect. So I guess the bay doesn't have to be open to be a cargo area either. Wonder if they could make a removable trunk lid? Seems the bed in the...
It's going to be interesting how the new color price structure will change the vehicles that get built. White and black so far seem to be a minority color for the Maverick. Perhaps Ford will decide to offer no cost optional colors when they see what happens. Then again, people may see this as...
Ref: Tim's video: I believe that in the case where the new model is cheaper by only a few hundred dollars that's great if you want a black or white one. But, if you desire any other color, prepare for it to more or much more expensive. The Lobo and the Tremor are the exceptions here, as they're...
