  1. What’s One Interior Space in Your Maverick You Wish Was More Useful?

I agree, I would sometimes like to leave my sunglasses and phone down there but, worry that it could invite trouble with them in plain sight. Maybe Ford should redesign this area for an optional accessory cover on future models. Until then, maybe @MABETT can come up with something for us.
  2. 🚪 Door Anti-Kick Pad – Essential Protection for Your Ford Maverick!

I'm concerned about how these will age. It appears the installation (of at least the Velcro) is permanent. Can they be removed cleanly if at some point you no longer need or want them? Otherwise they do have a good appearance from what I seen here.
  3. Going for 1000 miles in one tank. The result is…. (Hybrid Maverick)

Congrats to you! This is a most difficult feat, especially when you can't control what traffic ends up on the road with you. I've ended up satisfied to usually get about 700 miles to a tank. I know of no one who has done 900 let alone over 1000. I do know the Maverick hybrid is capable of...
  4. Water held in rear door seals

I did notice this on my '24 when near new, I have not noted it any time recently. Don"t know if weatherstrip got broken in or if I just haven't accessed the rear at right time lately. There are some other posts about this at the bottom of this page, but have not heard of this problem for a while.
  5. What Maverick Feature Grew on You?

On my hybrid I am more and more amazed at the great fuel mileage it returns without even trying. If I try, it rewards even more! If I don't think about it, there's no worry because I know the mileage will still be better than any comparable vehicle made. I'm sure many EcoBoost owners feel the...
  6. 5th 12V Battery in 3 years

@Mavster Mechanic, Glad you chimed in as you are the discoverer of "The Tricks". I had already started a response here as follows for OP also. OP, now is the time to start using "The Tricks" to preserve your battery, you will be paying for the next one even if you have the extended warranty...
  7. 4 Fold Low Prifile Tonneau Cover $409.79

The description says it rest against the back of the cab. However, there are no images showing in that way, even in the video.????
  8. Buying a 2026 off the lot? Make sure you know about these coming discounts when negotiating.

They do if your contemplating upgrading to a newer vehicle and don't have to have it now. As it was, I waited 13 months for the Maverick I've got and am happy that it's a '24 and not a '23.
  9. VW Tukan Small Pickup

ASSumed it was just the rear seat(s), not a cargo bay that defined weather a truck or not for this tax. Ford did the same thing on the Transit Connect. So I guess the bay doesn't have to be open to be a cargo area either. Wonder if they could make a removable trunk lid? Seems the bed in the...
  10. VW Tukan Small Pickup

But, the Brat did not have a rear seat otherwise.
  11. VW Tukan Small Pickup

Wonder if the "Chicken Tax" would actually apply. It's really just an SUV with an open luggage area. Has rear passenger seats and all.
  12. 2023 Hybrid v. 2025 Eco-Boost AWD with Tow Package

I think the point here is that the Maverick's basic tow rating is 2000 pounds not 1500. The AI answer above leaves much to be desired IMO.
  13. A look at all Mavericks registered in NY (stats) - Ecoboost vs hybrid, packages, paint colors, etc.

It's going to be interesting how the new color price structure will change the vehicles that get built. White and black so far seem to be a minority color for the Maverick. Perhaps Ford will decide to offer no cost optional colors when they see what happens. Then again, people may see this as...
  14. 2027 Maverick The RETURN of Door Mounted Wired Keypad, Elimination of Stop / Start, pricing + more trim details

Ref: Tim's video: I believe that in the case where the new model is cheaper by only a few hundred dollars that's great if you want a black or white one. But, if you desire any other color, prepare for it to more or much more expensive. The Lobo and the Tremor are the exceptions here, as they're...
  15. Valve cover oil leak

But @Glen Baker LLC 's point is that; the hybrid does not have any belt driven accessories. They are all electric.
  16. Putting Mabett products to a real test on The Dempster Highway to the Arctic Ocean!

Age is just a number as long as you have the health and where with all. Mostly a mindset given the health.
  17. Warranty expires 10/13/26 -- what should I have checked before expiration?

I would have the 12v battery checked. The CV axles will still be covered by the 5/60 powertrain warranty.
