I Wonder if us 22 to 23 rollovers will stay priority 10s and others will be 15 to 19 ?? U can bet Tims live stream on Tu. will be a very interesting show !!!!! Make no mistake we grip at something's Ford does (. But Ford is Smart Very Smart They got there Ducks in a roll no question .🤔
Priority is only within that specific dealer. A priority 10 at dealer A has zero priority over a priority 20 at dealer B.

What is PEP? Preferred equipment package?
Not sure exactly what it stands for, but it's your trim so XL, XLT, Lariat, Tremor. You cab add options and colors, but can't change trim or engine type after.

Is the Tremor its own code, or is it a package on an XLT or Lariat? Like could you drop the Tremor package after the close date to speed things up?

Did anyone get this? Ford is only MFG 35% Maverick Hybrids. I order one last evening and the salesman showed me this.
Yes, this was posted on Tuesday. Constraints are worse than last year it seems.

Tremor has a unique body code. Can’t be changed once ordered. W8G.

I see this as a win tbh. Shutting down orders early helps not get them over loaded like last year. It may be easier to just start sending out whatever they can build as stock units to flood the market. I know it sucks for those not paying attention but anyone who's wanted a maverick should be in the know how that ordering is up.

Good question. I thought I heard Tim say before it was a separate Trim but it's listed on the Price list as an option so maybe? 🤷

Yep. But keep in mind the Fx4, Tremor, and 4K have to be EcoBoost. So, the number of people who can actually order a hybrid will be more limited based on the other options chosen.

Plus battery shortage.

It's both. It has a separate trim code and then requires optioning as a Tremor or Tremor w/ Appearance Package.

After reading the notice it looks like a crap shoot if you get the truck you ordered.
I wonder how many orders will go to M24?
Sure wish I didn't need a new ride. Terrible time to buy one.

I've posted this elsewhere but I'll say it again here. My local Florida dealer is not putting in any new orders at this time. They are ONLY taking care of 22 customers who did not get a VIN. They told me this yesterday that Ford instructed them not to take new 23 orders until further notice, the initial 23 orders going in were only to be for existing customers not new. I reached out to Tim Bartz and he has not replied on the subject, I suspect 99% of dealers are overlooking what Ford instructed and instead have maxed out the system with NEW 23 orders and 22 carryovers placed as new 23 orders. I know Granger opted to do this same thing, though they made it sound like it was their decision to not take new orders. Yet my local Florida dealer has said it was Fords. I don't know what to make of it. I'm having a hard time finding anyone around here that will input an order and sign a price at that same time. Guess I might be keeping my 22, which isn't exactly a bad thing. This whole mess could have been avoided if Ford simply rolled over the existing 22 orders and gave a couple of weeks for just those orders to convert and schedule before opening the flood gates. You poor 22 "rollovers" do not and will not have a lick of priority over these brand new 23 orders that are going in simultaneously. You can let your dealer tell you you're at Priority 10 but nothing is preventing brand new orders to get put right in at 10 as well by shady dealers, so there goes your "priority."

Thanks for the heads up on this.

It turns out that the salesman who I was dealing with was on vacation until Monday which is why my order had not been entered. At this rate the order bank could be closed by the time he gets back

I got someone else to get the order entered and I got the confirmation email so I am good now.

The only glitch was that they could not enter the order for an XL as Atlas Blue so it is Silver for now, which would be OK, and we will try to change it later.

It is for a hybrid and I asked if they thought that changing it to an ECO would help and they did not really know but they did not think so. I ended up leaving it as a hybrid.

I’m on the side that thinks this is a constraint issue. I think Ford is noticing their plan isn’t aligned with orders at all - I bet the split is like 70/30 Hybrid/Gas, 60%+ want CP360, XL is popular, Lux is on the majority of orders, etc. And they know their constraints can shift like they did last year.

Instead of closing orders to adjust what can be ordered, then reopening, they’re just going to close and let dealer allocation run the show. But dealer allocation based on what they can actually build instead of building to customer demand.
Yep. I think they are probably getting a lot more black appearance packages than they anticipated based on everyone’s builds.
