Interesting. That contradicts this person selling a used set on eBay. They claim Tremor springs lifted their non-Tremor in the front 3/4" and rear 1/2", which is more in line with what I'd expect. Did you drive the vehicle and let suspension settle after installing the springs. If you just...
These look great, for sure, but you got rid of the LED signature lighting from the stock Lobo tails by going to these fully halogen units.
Your stock tails certainly had this LED bar on the perimeter and in the middle of the light, which the fully halogen units do not have.
Upper right...
Pardon my hijack, what amber grille lights are those? They're the most subtle rendition I've seen, would like to get a set.
Nice work on the fog lights as well, both to you and OP. Great use of the empty space Ford left there.
Unfortunately, the OP (@RadMav) sold his Maverick a while ago. No idea where they left off with this or if it went anywhere at all. I'd reach out to the companies directly for more information and see if anything's in the works.
Someone else needs to carry the torch for us on this idea.
Yikes, hope you haven't entirely replaced your one-piece design for this multi-piece idea.. I can certainly understand the desire to reduce packaging volume, but I don't think these are going to sell well, if at all.
$3500, and they couldn't do anything to bump out the fuel door? I would think that aspect should have been easy to mold the fuel doors outward, flush with the wide-body if these are true replacements vs. skins.
I suppose something like this might be achievable after the fact?
Edit: just...
Not that I've seen, but it won't take all that much. Hood and fenders are unchanged, so you just need: headlights, grille and the upper/lower bumper covers. Headlights will likely be the biggest expense, then getting the upper bumper cover painted to match (unless you can find one in your...
That's a very good point. Our leader has gotten to me so bad that even I'm blaming China when it was in fact Diode Dynamics who spec'd the wrong material, oops!
China is not to blame; Diode Dynamics is. Will they fix it? Probably not, and I'll tell you why I think this. This portion of the...
It's a bit ironic, though, because quite a few of their employees openly support the cause of what might be their own demise. Or at least they were pretending to for engagement.
:flag:
Unfortunately, this once great American company appears to be bleeding more and more as of late. They've jacked prices considerably and are more publicly refusing to stand behind their products by denying obvious warranty issues. I could honestly see them not surviving this economy.
As a possible āfixā Iād look into getting a can of SEM trim black and SEM adhesion promoter.
Remove the faded parts, scuff and clean them well, spray with adhesion promoter, then spray with trim black. Should give a similar look to the OEM trim and will definitely not fade this severely or...
I typically love DD products but Iām not surprised, considering those bezels are made in China. Diode outsourced that portion of the kit which led to all of the initial delays. Sucks they wont stand behind their junk product, those bezels should be replaced under warranty. That is not at all...
Main thing stopping me from pulling the trigger in these is that they are 100% halogen. Waiting for them to offer the Lariat LED/halogen equivalent but even then Iām a little leery as most aftermarket assemblies are not as robust as OEM; not all, but most.
Roof protector ~$40
Roof spoiler ~$130
Both items are practically the same size and shape. Thereās no way the manufacturing and shipping costs are vastly different between such similar products. Why the stark price difference?
I previously posted before searching but I did just notice that Eibach does not have specific lowering springs for the Lobo. Their 2025 LOBO page links you to the same part number as the 22-24 (which is now updated to 22-25) AWD springs: E10-35-057-02-22
I post all of this to say that you...
