Up-date: I don't think it was sleep mode. Just a bad battery. The mobile dealer truck came to my house and changed out the battery. So far that seems to have been the problem. We'll see. I have a 1600 mile road trip coming up in a few days.
I'm planning a 1500 mile trip this week. So far I have only had to replace the 12v. battery. If something like the what happened to the OP happens to me, I'll get rid of the truck ASAP.
I have the same truck and same problems. The dealer decided the fix was to install a new battery. That has work now for 3 days, but I doubt the issue has been fixed. I'm loosing confidence in Ford.
Thanks I was hoping that wasn't the case. I'll hook up the ford app and see what it says. I shut down the app the day I got my truck thinking that might discharge the battery.
When I open the driver door I have no interior lights come on. I have a lariat and no ambient lights either. I have tried the settings etc. Am I missing a switch? Battery seems fine. No other issues I know about. What am I missing? Thanks.
I have many years of blue water sailing. I'm used to looking at a compass while traveling. Not that I need a compass for driving. Don't need a sextant either. Or a depth sounder. Life with the maverick is so easy.
I have the '24 lariat hybrid. 2000 miles so far. All good.
I see a little basic direction icon in the instrument cluster. Is there an actual compass display to access?
Thanks.
I picked up my '24 Lariat Feb 8th. So far everything is great. I have 40 mpg total at 1900 miles. I'll be doing some long road trips soon. I'm really liking the truck.
Ya, no problem with a dry bag for diving. I'm going to try messing around with the key that comes out of the fob. Maybe I can leave the fob in the truck and use the key to lock the doors. And take the key with me.
