  1. How much did you pay for yours?

    The three I purchased: 2022 XL EB - MSRP $22,545 + tax/fees $24,500ish OTD 2022 Lariat Lux Hybrid - 4% under invoice + tax/fees $29,800ish OTD 2023 XL Hybrid - 4% under invoice - $2750 private offer + tax/fees $21,756 OTD
  2. Would you take $5,000 over what you paid?

It was pretty easy to sell the XL EB back in April of 2022 and also easy to get a large trade value on the Lariat hybrid. This 2023 XL hybrid took some work. You may be better off to hold for now until Carvana algorithms start buying cars. Their manual appraisals suck. But also - the Maverick...
  3. Would you take $5,000 over what you paid?

Ummm... I'm sure if you had read my post you'd have seen that I said $26,500 was how much more I sold/traded them for and $16,000 was the AFTER tax profit. You guys have got to get off this tax bandwagon bullshit. Taxes are inevitable and the argument that you shouldn't sell your vehicle for...
  4. Would you take $5,000 over what you paid?

This tax argument is made frequently and is flawed. Just because you must pay tax does not mean the profit you do make is not worth it. You also assume that you'll be getting back in line for the same vehicle - but what if you're not waiting on another Maverick? Also, I'd consider $5,000 on the...
  5. Resale Value insane?

Pricing is weird and can vary wildly day by day. I have sold 2 and traded 1 Maverick in the past year, though never purchased with the intent of flipping. Though I think if you have the means and the know how to do it, why not? 2023 XL Hybrid - Paid $21,750 OTD after $2750 rebate & 3% under...
  6. Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

I am so happy to see you finally be scheduled. Back when order banks opened in September, I ordered a silver XL Hybrid for a family member from a dealer local to me. That one is also scheduled for week of 5/8. That means I've owned 3 Mavericks and have another on the way (though not for me) in...
  7. Carmigo Makes it Easier to Sell Your Ford Maverick -- Here's How

@carmigo had a great idea and we sold 2 of our vehicles through them last year. Now, however, they are in the crapper. They removed the transparency so you cannot watch bids come in live. They now just present you with terrible offers made by what a cursory google search shows to be possibly buy...
  8. Sold my Maverick to Carvana

Plenty of people like Mavericks, but money talks. I wouldn't sell it for $2-3000 over what I paid, either. But for $10k plus? The Maverick is good but it isn't turn-down-50%-profit good. You do you and let the rest of us worry about ourselves. We're free to buy and sell as many as we...
  9. Sold my Maverick to Carvana

I've been offered $34,000 for my 2023 XL Hybrid.. I financed 100% of the truck, taxes, everything and the payoff is $21,750. Going to be hard to turn that down.
  10. Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

For reference, Chapman could not beat my CU rate of 4.54% even at Tier 1 credit. I ended up bringing a check from the CU. Painless process though.
  11. What did you drive before the Maverick?

Our current stable. Acura photo from press shot since no good photo of it. I love them all. 2020 Macan S - 34,000 miles 2023 Integra 6MT - 11,000 miles 2023 XL Hybrid - 2,100 miles
  12. Maverick AWD and Highway Performance?

Our Maverick is not AWD, but a FWD hybrid. It gets pushed around a little bit by winds but high speed stability does not seem to be any worse than our Macan, which is like a tank. That's high praise for the Maverick.
  13. Sorry another private offer post

Ford isn't the problem here, it's your dealer. Mine had no issue with applying the private offer. It is not like this is manual labor, it is a few keystrokes. Your dealer sucks but it sounds like they have the upper hand here. Go ahead and see if you can get Ford CS involved. Otherwise you're...
  14. Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

Appears not. The GA taxes on this Maverick with an MSRP of $23,690 were $200 less than they were on the XL EB with a $22,575 MSRP last year.
  15. Month at the dealer for engine light. Back ordered part..I miss my Maverick

I wouldn't ask for my money back yet. I'd see what offers are on selling it, and if you can make a profit, just wait on the repair.
  16. Maverick Hybrid Brakes not very responsive and not smooth

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my 2023 Maverick which would have had the TSB implemented before production completion is better than my 2022 was, but it is still annoying. Other hybrid cars are better at this. I suspect you can learn to drive around it, but you shouldn't have to.
  17. Change XLT parking lights to be the DRL's instead of low beams

I've been playing around with this on my XL and also cannot get the turn signals to work as DRL. The low beams still come on, and the front turn signals as well but they won't blink.
  18. Chapman/Horsham -- 2022MY to 2023MY rollover orders

My new XL hybrid is home in GA from Chapman Horsham. Couple of notes: Positive: Total price was $21,751.66 including GA taxes and Chapman's fees. MSRP $23,690. Can't beat that at all. Super charming at its most basic form. Negative: Chapman put on all documentation that the truck had "9"...
  19. TSB for the brakes grabbing -- is for 2022 or 2023 Maverick?

My Lariat Lux hybrid was built 09/2022 and the brakes were awful. I don't recall seeing a "May" date either.
  20. Question about the Private offer

I was able to get my certificate number tied to my private offer from Ford CS. But your dealer should see it, as well.
