Here is mine from a nearly 12,000 mile interval, following the OLM. Will test again next time.. truck currently has 24,100 miles, OLM says 65% or 7,700 miles.
Whoever said Blackstone is "AI".. I nearly fell out of my chair with how hard I rolled my eyes. If anything you don't like or agree...
Old post but to add that this does not work for USDM 2024 XLT hybrid. The factory coding was already set to this, with the normal behavior of having to press OK or wait for a long delay.
I want it to work this way, but none of the codings make it work like I want so have had to compromise and...
I run this on my 2024 XLT.. have had normal behavior from pre-collision assist. Unfortunately, I can even attest to the AEB function working as intended.
I'm not knocking Granger in particular - I've never worked with them, but have discussed, and they're all very nice people.
But no one should be doing nonrefundable deposits on vehicles like the Maverick. This sort of clause, even in a contract, is usually unenforceable. The dealership is going...
It depends on how one defines "best". It's best for my mental health these days, yes, because I don't have to care. Didn't miss that pothole? Took it like a champ. Rattles? So many it's funny to me. Beach day where everyone gets sand everywhere and get in and out of it wet? Big deal. I love how...
OP - you're correct. I've owned 40 cars in 25 years, and I've been a member of a multitude of communities associated with many of them. There are some standard truths about car communities, and one of them is that in the absence of any real problem, people tend to decide to stress about the...
Voted.. Maybe.
I am both a former and current Tesla owner, and the anti-EV sentiment has never made sense to me. There are people who have very valid reasons for not buying an EV - their use case, where they live, that kind of thing. But most people I talk to who are anti-EV are the same type...
10,000 miles is fairly common these days. I know I owned a Toyota 10 years ago that had the same interval.
You're probably going to get some hate (it's already started) about this interval, but ignore it. Anecdotal crap is meaningless. I ran 13,000 mile intervals, as was the recommendation from...
My real world mileage on my 2024 XLT Hybrid is 44.3. I haven't gotten less than 550 miles on a tank yet, but that's just my particular use.
This review just states what I've thought about the Maverick since it launched. It's all the car (or truck) that anyone needs. It's not an impressive...
That's not how I read it. No doubt the Maverick is a huge success for Ford, but Toyota is not exactly hurting for sales, either.
More competition will be a good thing. If the Maverick had not been the only game in town, it might be a better product than it is currently (and its still good). But...
This is not what Toyota is saying. It is coming, per this article from last month with quotes from Toyota executives.

“Decisions have been made. The question is when we can...
This is not true at the federal level whatsoever. As long as you are at or below the income requirements, and the vehicle qualifies, you can file for 2 new EV credits per year. At tax time they may ask (can't recall) if you kept it for more than 30 days but I have no idea where you got 36...
I have a Tesla and a 2024 Maverick. I also would not buy a 2025 due to the change, even though the Tesla does not bother me. Unless they can make it work as well as Tesla (and it absolutely does not), they - and anyone else - need to stick with physical buttons. This is 100% cost cutting, and...
Some background - I've owned 40 vehicles, possibly more. They've been everything from Porsche and Mercedes to Toyota and Honda and basically everything between. Lexus, Genesis, Acura, the list goes on.. currently sitting with a Tesla 3 Performance and this XLT Hybrid.
The Maverick would be in...
This is definitely something that should never have happened. I also have 10,000 miles on a 2024 XLT Hybrid and it will go deep sleep much sooner than it should. I'll adjust the charge and add an AGM, which it should have had to start with. Hopefully Ford will issue a fix on it before that's an...
That's where the Battery Saver feature comes in. It will kick on after 14 days. The issue is how frequently it kicks in after 14 minutes. Then again, this one instance doesn't prove much.
Glad to help.
2023 Model 3 RWD - 2 cents per mile
2023 Model Y Performance AWD - 3 cents per mile
So you're not quite at EV levels but you're doing a lot better than our Maverick hybrids did. They were 10-12CPM.
