Actually, July 17th is the National Holiday called the "Appreciation of Patience Day". If you order a Maverick you better have a lot of patience and a dealer with a lot of allocations!!!

Yeah, those were due to unofficial leaks posted here a day or two before the ordering window opened, I don't even think my salesperson had seen them. I still have my PDFs from that.

I know the first place I went to did not... I brought printed copies of a spreadsheet with my detailed MY2023 XLT order, the official MY2023 price list, the official MY2023 packaging guide, and the official MY2023 ordering guide to the dance... The salesman looked at me, as he was using the MY2022 Web Order App, and asked "Where did you get those?"

The Ford website was updated much later after the order banks closed... It still has incorrect and misrepresented photos of the Black Appearance Package for the XLT.

Hoping for better and more timely information from Ford for MY2024. Is that called setting myself up for disappointment? Wonder if the official Ford member is reading that last question.

Holy cow... I just read a mess of comments on this thread...(I think my comments were very early in the thread.. and then another 12 more pages or so happened)... some of you... good lord.... mama always said... so I'm staying tight lipped...

Anyway, I have my standing order with 1 dealership. barring any packaging, options, features, int/ext color changes or aggregious supply constraints on individual itmes on the order, I'm set to order 1 vehicle that I will take delivery of and drive/own long term. Already had the conversation about msrp, no mandatory dealer adders, ford dealer vehicle allocations, priorities, signed orders, price guarantee with no market adjustments, doras, down payment, no-trade, financing, farm bureau discount, etc. Will show up at 8am on 7/17.

Have I missed anything?

I confirmed with my dealer today that I'm pretty much hosed. They had 52 orders back in September, Ford allocated them 7, and those 7 have been fulfilled.

Guess the old minivan is getting a new belt tensioner and I'm going to the dealership in July for a 24!

No!! You are going to the dealership on 7/17.... If you wait until the 24th, people would have had 7 days to order before you... they open on Monday July 17th...

You had me really confused on where I came up with the 24th?!?!?

Then I realized you thought I meant July 24th, not that I'm going in July to order a 24 haha

I guess I got lucky. I ordered a loaded Eco Boost with everything on Sept 15, priority code 19.
4-13 -23 got the SCH email for the week of 6/19 to be built.
