When the dealer enters the order, it is attached to a customer's name, and the dealer submits copy of customer's DL to verify. Ford requires this on some models (all of MY22 Mavericks, for instance). This is to prevent dealers from placing a bunch of orders for "Jon Smith" to get more trucks...
Not if they COVP'd it. Allowable fault rate on COVP is decreasing, and penalties for dealers delivering vehicles to someone other than the name on the order are increasing. And they are no joke penalties.
Keep in mind, those priorities are only for within a specific dealership. A 10 has higher priority than a 20 AT THE SAME DEALER. A 10 at dealer xyz has zero priority over a 20 at a different dealer.
The priority code is only for that dealer. Meaning, a 10 from that might get priority over a 20 from that dealer, but a 10 from dealer A has zero priority over a 20 from dealer B.
Hate? Where are you getting that from? I’m just saying that what you are claiming is untrue. Nobody was able to order at 3 o’clock central time. Either you are lying, or your dealer is lying to you.
Also, priority 10 is only in relation to other orders AT THAT DEALER (sorry for yelling). It has no greater priority than a 20 from a different dealer.
I am having a hard time believing that your salesman was able to see an open order bank a half hour before literally any other salesman in the country.
It probably took 10 minutes of clicking because 3:23 was 7 minutes before the order bank opened. Also, where are you where you are in CST? Do you not have daylight savings time where you are?
"Must be a Farm Bureau member for 30 consecutive days prior to purchase or lease and take new retail delivery from an authorized Ford Dealer’s stock by January 2, 2023"
That's gonna be a little tricky.
Good morning Tim, I just spoke with Mallory at your dealership and she says nobody knows when the order bank will open “ maybe middle of this month but we do not know.“
Is that the best information at this time, or has there been anything more official more reliable than that? Thank you.
