The wife has Perelli on the Explorer. Given our southern climate, they work fine for the road. Never had an issue when we drove in heavy rain.
My Maverick has Michelins. I like them. Buddy of mine that owns a garage says Michelins tend to be his favorite as they are softer, which make for a...
I have the LoPro soft rollup. Leaking is a problem in heavy rain and car washes, but 90% of the time, it works fine. But I've gotten to carrying everything in containers in the bed of the truck for convenience. And so, not having soaking wet containers is a win for me.
I had the blinker light recall done. Took them fifteen minutes in my garage. Noticed zero change (given it was designed to fix a problem that only appears when the bulb burns out...). Didn't even mess up my Forscan tweaks.
Otherwise, been fortunate in that my MY23 4K Lariat hasn't had any major...
The old Ranger was literally the truck Ford originally built for the European market and brought here. The new Ranger is one Ford designed to include the American market, which is why its styling more closely matches the Maverick and F-150.
If you were doing it wrong, you would get a different error message. Mine popped five business days before it was actually put on the line but I have seen people get it a day or two before.
Your build day could shift around next week. So, it might be later this week before it pops.
To be fair to Ranger, Ford hasn't actually been building them. So, those are likely leftover euro-Rangers and not the newer, better looking ones.
But I'm not surprised. I have seen a lot more Mavericks around town and I live half an hour from where the Santa Cruz is built.
Priority 1-3 are reserved for Ford. Priority 4-19 are reserved for retail orders. Everything beyond that doesn't matter for this discussion...
All the priority number means is the listing of the dealer's preferred order in which retail orders are fulfilled. So, if you have a dealership that has...
"Exhausted" means Ford doesn't need any more orders for XL from dealers.
"Balance out" means there is no more XL capacity left to schedule.
Keep an eye out for that second one as we approach summer.
Brakes are one of the easiest thing to do yourself. I've been driving for over two decades and have never paid anyone to do my brakes but will 100% pay someone to change my oil.
Camping at Ft. Pickens near Pensacola this past weekend. Saw three other Mavericks, one of each trim and at least one obvious hybrid, in the same campground. (pics are all my truck)
Averaged just over 30mpg for the weekend with a full load of gear and scouts.
