While waiting on my unit to be detailed, took a picture of all 4 current trucks side by side for comparison. Maverick is much smaller than all 3 of it's big brothers but not by much compared to the ranger.

To add -- how's this for a stark size and scale difference!

Maverick looks so tiny, yet when you see one in real life it doesn't seem that way!

Not meaning to hijack this post, but looking at the sign behind those trucks, how come most major dealerships don't do a Lifetime Limited Warranty? I keep my vehicles up to date on all services, is there a catch?

Of course there is a catch. I've bought from dealers who do this before. The catch is you must service it exclusively at their dealership and by their schedules.

It is not worth the paper it is written on. That's why they offer it for free.

The ranger reminds me of the late 90s F-150s. The Maverick has the style of the current F series.

The size comparison photos always make me laugh.

The F-250 is absurd how large it is. The Mav roof is barely above the bed sides. Hahaha.

Yeah, but I will able reach over and work out of the Maverick. And don't need ladder or step bars to get in it or wash it. The older that you get then you will appreciate sliding your into the driver's seat.
Post hip surgery, it's easier for me to climb up than it is to slide down.... And then get back out. I'll take the ladder any day :) Wasn't a fan of how low the Mav rides, but it's still my best option right now...

That is illegal. As long as you have it service per the recommended intervals they must honor warranty.

The dealership I bought my jetta from does this, and it's exactly the case. They also charge outrageous prices for basic maintenance ($125 for an oil change on my economy car). I wonder how many angry calls they field every single day from previous customers who realize that they don't meet the criteria for the lifetime warranty?

Only illegal for the manufacturer, a proprietary contract with an independent dealership they can make all kinds of stipulations.
