17 is not a downgrade. Most would consider it an upgrade on trucks or off road vehicles. Bigger tire sidewalls on the 17s make a difference!

Hybrid works great for towing. I tow a 21 foot total length camper up hill and back with my hybrid. Does great!!!

Hybrid no question. Plenty of power, great gas milage and tows my 3000lbs camper without an issue! Every time I have one of my buddies in it he says wow this thing can move! He has a Tundra.

Yeah I have been wondering the same. Would be nice. Doesn't seem like it would be a difficult push.

I do think the Maverick will be all Hybrid when the second gen comes out and will have a more powerful hybrid system.

I have Firestone Destination AT2 in 235/65 r17 and they have been fantastic. My wife has a Bronco Sport and just ordered Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails in 235/65 r17. Another good option would be Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail AT The best non AT tire would be Michelin Cross Climate 2

For the instrument cluster I used screen spline to fix it. I do still have a rattle around the radio but only when towing my camper.

You will have no problems towing 2,400lbs with the Hybrid. My camper is 3000lbs dry. I towed it at 3750lbs 2 weeks ago when it was 100 out up and down steep hills. Only got about 14.3mpg and used a half a tank of gas but it did it and the temps never went above half.

I just checked my Ford app and I have this recall showing for my 25 Hybrid... I wonder if this is the AWD update for the 25 Hybrids. Ford did say they would be pushing an update out to make it act the same as the 26 AWD system.

Or hold off one more year as the 2028s should get another refresh or they might be the second gen Maverick.
