I never liked the idea of phev... I bet a lot of people with them never plug them in... I know I would forget or just get lazy and not plug it in. Should be ICE, Hybrid or EV.

May be wait and see what the refresh 25s will offer before making a decision. Only 2 or 3 more months before we find out.

Not sure as the recall only seems to cover around 55,000 Mavs built between Feb of 21 and Oct of 22.

The Mav Hybrid uses an eCVT not a CVT. Completely different than what Nissan, Honda or Subaru use. It's the same system as what Toyota uses and they are a fantastic transmissions.

Probably. I checked a few minutes ago and I'm not seeing it for my hybrid.

I just checked open recalls on mine and don't see this one. I'm thinking it's probably just for the ecoboost versions. Though I find that funny as us hybrid people are the ones losing power while driving...

Probably mid July is when they will open the order banks for the 25s with deliveries starting September/October. That is what they have done the past few years (except for the 22s).

Sounds like that would be for the Ecoboost. You should do a Tuesday video talking about this hybrid issue and what Ford plans on doing.

Did you have any recalls done before this started? I'm going to guess you did and you are having the same issues as others that had the recall done..

I haven't had any of the software updates done yet. What I find interesting is now when I check my open recalls the "reprogram powertrain control module" says remedy not yet available. So seems Ford has stopped that update until they have a fix.

Plenty of people have done it. You will be down a few mpg. Max size without any issues would be 245 65 r17. Though I think 235 65 r17 is better for the hybrid and what I plan on getting. You also want to look at the weight of the tire. Try to stay around 30lbs or less. I believe the stock tires...

The Ridgeline is getting old and it's expensive. The Mav looks so much better compared to the Ridgeline.

I disable all that stuff in the winter months and then re enable in the summer.

The battery should be recalled...
