This!
If anyone at Ford is reading this, do away with the touch screen stuff on all models. VW is going back to knobs. Touch Screens are a distraction while driving and you can see it a million miles away ....touch screens will have to be replaced at some point if you own your vehicle for a...
Thank you. I was starting to wonder if it was just me. We're also talking about getting a second one. I'm thinking about a base XL with no options since she took over my Maverick.
I didn't think I would like that color, but my opinion has changed after viewing those photographs. The black trim makes it stand out. Good choice. Did you add anything to the truck at Best Buy? I'm thinking about a camera when I get mine.
A couple of thoughts,
I have not read all of the pages of this thread, but I feel bad for you especially getting prepared to make a long trip and having to turn around.
My opinion, I would not want a new truck that had been damaged and repaired. I would be concerned about the replacement paint...
So is Santee California close enough to San Diego that the two photos may be of the same vehicle? One photo being on the street and the other in a wrecker yard?
This situation reminds me of one of those sad old country western songs where the wife does the poor man wrong and she gets the truck and his dog.
I bet that 7.3 power stroke stays thirsty for fuel. Several years ago, I drove a late 1980s model F250 on the job. Trying to turn that thing around was like changing directions with an aircraft carrier.
Those are some cold photos. Night plus snow on the ground. We had 75 degree weather yesterday, but of course we have to put up with the occasional tornado. I'm trading my F150 for a Maverick too. I keep going back and forth, but the F150 is to large for my needs now.
The steel wheels look very nice on that truck. I noticed a paper temporary floor mat (Nissan) in one of the photographs. Are you ordering new floor mats and from what company? What date did you order your Maverick? Thanks.
Very nice photos. I have a question about the roof spoiler. Is that more for looks or has it been certified/proven that it works? If those spoilers have been tested and shown that they add to the performance of the Maverick then I want one.
I am no expert, but I want to know if it was totaled. Unless the drive-train and engine moved, it looks cosmetic. Good points about the airbags and getting replacement parts. If it's not totaled, it's going to sit in someone's body shop for awhile.
Thanks for the pictures. It looks like from the photos, you guys live either in town or close to it. Besides towing, will the F250 be used for work loads or for leisure?
