Is it just me or does the rear wheel placement on the Ranger seem odd? Too far forward.

The Ranger driver doesn’t know how to park in his spot. Those kind make me mad.

same here, except I finally got my Maverick after 10.5 months wait. Funny thing about that next gen Ranger. We bought a new 2018 F-150 in March 2018. A couple months later I was looking at the floor model 2019 Ranger they had. Climbed in and out and all about, but just not right for me. Maverick wasn't even on the internet rumor mill yet. The salesman told me there was supposed to a new generation Ranger coming "soon" and maybe I should wait to see that before deciding on anything. We already had the F-150 and I have a nice paid off DD so I'm in no hurry... I saw the salesman frequently when taking F-150 in for service, etc. and always asked about that new Ranger- always the same answer- nobody knows and Ford isn't telling us anything.

Fast Forward to Summer of 2021 and I'm now asking sales guy about the Maverick and all I get is a blank stare! "A what"? I kept digging for info and was already on here and kept feeding HIM info on the Maverick and educated the sales floor on it basically, LOL. So he got me a test drive in a Maverick and invited me to trainer session at dealership. I ended up ordering Dec 15th 2021 and received Nov 2022. I still go in there a lot for misc reasons- and 1st thing I do is ask him "any news on that new Ranger yet"? and it gets a laugh. I'm pretty sure they'll take back my low mileage Maverick in trade for a new Ranger if it ever arrives and I like it better

Maverick grill looks more trucky to me. Like it much better. The big lamps on the Mav both front and rear give the Mav more visual mass.

Also I could swear I saw another Mav from a distance. Up close it was a Nissan Frontier. Basically the same size and stance as the Maverick. Mav isn't that small. But I think the Ranger has no place any more.

Ranger kinda parked crooked . But thank you for the pictures ! It’s amazing how the ranger feels almost as big as f150 . I’m curious why they didn’t name it the maverick and the maverick the ranger . When I think the name maverick I think of cowboy western off roader truck . Like the classic western tv series maverick. To me current maverick is next generation of this 2011 ranger

Yea already in AUS it’s pretty cool . Looks like slimer 150 . There’s raptor ranger coming out . Expect it will sale well if it can meet demand
