I just want to confirm that adding eco and sport modes work with my FX4 with 4K towing.
I didn't use easy mode. I followed the main post and used method 2 disabling the drive mode selector and adding all the modes.
When I changed the two values I got a warning that I had an incorrect hash value. I canceled out and redid the changes just to be safe and got the same warning. After accepting the write my dash cluster went haywire and the check engine light came on and I got 2 yellow warnings. But after turning the truck key off and starting the truck the warnings and check engine light went away.
I verified both modes were working by going down the road in cruise control. In eco mode the RPMs were under 2,000 after I changed to sport mode the RPMs went to 3500.
Sport mode is pretty zippy compared to the normal mode but I can see it using a ton of gas.
