I have gathered all the options in my original post about the custom solution I did.

My understanding is that they are issued quarterly. Good for 3 months and renewed every 3. Your dealer seems to be uninformed.
Tim @fordvideoguy is the most knowledgeable on this topic.
I do like this layout, but not sure they will change up the dash that much for a mid-cycle refresh. The Escape just changed 1 dash piece to go to the bigger screen. The Mav is already prepād for the larger screen, just lose the cubby; so a 1 piece change. The spy photos seem to indicate the...
First, glad my post was of help.
I ran into a similar thing with compatibility, after installing mine when my opener died. I replace my 1998 Craftsman opener and bought a Chamberlain because it was a drop in replacement (same rails and hang location), but it didnāt work with the Homelinks I had...
When I used to leave, I just turned it in. The residual was alwasy to high. During Covid, there was good profit in buying it and selling it. My neighbors did that for their leases and made money.
I suspect a ā22 might have a residual where a buyout, and sell, would be worth it.
I do know, based...
Myself and others had the same voltage issue. The voltage changes based on the dimmer setting for the interior lights. My guess is that it a PWM signal, as Iāve seen on other wires.
Here is my write up on how I connected mine. I talk about this in the Overview in the document I posted...
Mine only operate around 30mph and above. Iād like mine to come lower than that, so they are on while driving through the neighborhood. Too many people walk without reflective clothing and there is 90Ā° turn.
That is where I connected my solution, right at the switch.
Not sure what signal they are using to sense the car is on, since all the pins work by shorting to ground. They must be using the same trick as am by sensing the Auto S/S light.
I will add this to the list of known options in my post...
My wife has a ā23 AWD ST Line Escape. It is our 4th 2.0 Escape. Had ā13, ā17, ā20. We looked long and hard at the Bronco Sport, but she like the Escape better. Only took a couple days to get used to the bigger size screen; I cannot wait to have that in the Maverick. As far as the HVAC controls...
There are multiple options.
Here is a post of what I did, but maybe more complex of a solution you are looking for, but I do list all the other options (that Iām aware of) at the end of the my main post...
Interesting. I had tested mine #6 and it only had power when the Mav was fully started. Maybe you put the tap in reversed? That is the only thing I. can think of.
