I was playing around with this trying to get intelligent adaptive cruise control to work, and ran into the same issues everyone else was having. However, when I reverted back, I’m still getting the error when I activate ACC that traffic sign recognition for IACC is not working. I forgot to save the forscan module builds before I made the changes. Can anyone help me identify what I need to change back to get the warning to stop alarming everyone I try to activate acc?

I got it fixed. Thanks guys
I saw you had asked some questions that never got answered. Since you figured it out, maybe post up what you changed and others can benefit from that knowledge. (y)

Another successful Forscan mod thanks to @Maverick2022XL.

I initially did not like the dual circles and round speed limit sign (I knew I wouldn't) so I reverted and went with option #2 and it worked like a charm.

Thanks again man!

"...just make sure to make a backup before you change anything..."
This is a long post. After getting through it I was going to post about this. Back up your As-Builts first thing. Do not rely on that Motorcraft site to have your correct As-Built info. Make a detailed record of what you change: what was it and what did you change it to.

IPMA setting 2
706-01-01
xxxx-xxD3-xxxxx

This enables TSR in camera only mode and the sign mode being SLIF
SLIF = speed limit signs only

It is recommended to use setting 2 here since the SSR menu in the IPC cluster only operates in SLIF mode.

Next and finally we just need to enable the Speed Sign Recognition menu in the cluster. By default it is disabled.

IPC
720-09-01
xxxx-xxxx-8xxx

This enables the Speed Sign Recognition menu.
When I attempt to change the IPMA settings to D3 and Write-All, I get a checksum error on a 2023 Hybrid XLT. Obviously I didn't proceed, but why are these settings different then the following post?

Which settings are correct for a 2023 Hybrid XLT?

It will always have a checksum error. Unless you figure it out yourself and also edit the last 2 numbers/digits for the location being changed. Forscan will calculate it for you based on the changes you make. It is telling you the value is not correct and will fix it. It is ok to proceed, when you get that.

Do you know why the settings in this post are different than this post?

Sorry, I do not.
I did just these the following two settings. I do have a Lariat.

IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx-xxD3-xxxxx
(I had a C9 where the D3 went)

IPC 720-09-01 xxxx-xxxx-8xxx
(I had a 1 where the 8 went)

And then in the ’Traffic Sign Recognition’ menu, I unchecked ‘Active speed warning’, because I hated it flashing when I was 5 over.

This is my concern. I have an 2023 XLT Hybrid and want to make sure this will work before I change it.
