Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) FORScan mod (confirmed working)

I have a Lariat, so probably not much help, but I’ll try.
You will see that for the 6” screen, there are only two things to set. And they work great.
I looked over the 4” stuff, that is on page 1 now, and I personally would not do all those settings. The overpass signs are not useful at all. I would see if you could get away with just these two settings:

IPMA
706-01-01
xxxx-xxD3-xxxxx
This enables TSR in camera only mode and the sign mode being SLIF
SLIF = speed limit signs only

IPC
720-03-02
xxCx-xxxx-xxxx
This activates the TSR menu

I also have a Lariat and completed the above two settings and get the Euro-style speed icons. I was reading through this thread and noticed some other settings you tried. Would the below be the correct settings from my Lariat with the 6.5” cluster?:

IPMA 706-01-01 xxxx-xxD3-xxxxx
(I had a C9 where the D3 went)

IPC 720-09-01 xxxx-xxxx-8xxx
(I had a 1 where the 8 went)

I did the instructions on the front page and then also changed a few things that said Traffic sign recognition to Enabled ( which were not mentioned in the post, but I saw them, and figured why not) and I got American speed signs.

Those are the settings I did, and got the square sign. I have a Lariat.

I also went in the ’Traffic Sign Recognition’ menu, uncheck ‘Active speed warning’. The flashing, over 5mph was way too annoying.

Thank you. I was able to get this working by following your earlier post. I see that you also enabled global window open and close. I also enabled this but it doesn’t work when using the fob.

Did you enable Global Window Open/Close in the BCM, PDM, and DDM? There's Global Window entries in the APIM and IPC, but those are just for enabling the menus.

I just enabled them in the IPC. Can I easily enable them in the other modules aswell? Or do those require changes numbers in As-Built?

BCM can be done plaintext, PDM and DDM require as-built change:

I get the GLOBAL CLOSE to work, beside the BCM easy all global ENABLE you need to code 740-02-08 and 741-02-08 to xxxx-xxxx-x0xx

Thank you. I was able to get this working by following your earlier post. I see that you also enabled global window open and close. I also enabled this but it doesn’t work when using the fob.

I copied this off the Global Windows page. this worked for me.
you do have to let your engine cycle. and once you do it you have to hold the button on the Fob for a few seconds to get them to go up or down.

To get global close enable the following:

for global close:
Get the GLOBAL CLOSE to work, go to module DDM and find 740-02-08 and change the third last value to this: xxxx-xxxx-x0xx (keep rest values the same!!!) then click on write
Now go to PDM module and go to value 741-02-08 change the third last value to this: xxxx-xxxx-x0xx (keep rest values the same!!!) then click on write
**note!!** you will get a Blind Spot/Cross Traffic Alert fault warning on the screen pop up, ignore this it will disappear after cycling the ignition. <I did not get that warning>

Just enabled tsr on my 2023 XL. Works great! Even recognized speed sign partially covered by tree branches.

Look at the first post. I used method 2 and value 2 (speed sign only).

Literally 2 values to change in forscan.

TSR all models can do. the Global open and close is Lariat only
