Reporting back that after a week or so of TSR activated - no issues and it works remarkably well. It is a small nice-to-have feature that I didn't know I wanted but now would be annoyed to be without. Ford really should have enabled from the factory...

When I connected, I didn't get any of the numeric codes, instead it was all "plain text" names of things. Is that a new change or am I doing something wrong with forscan?

The codes are in the ones with "AS BUILT" beside them.

Ah gotcha...

So maybe I missed it - does it matter if "AS BUILT" or other is used? what's the difference in them?

For me I had to change a code in the AS BUILT as well as changing a setting in the easy, plain text mode. So I would say yes.

If you notify the developers what AS-Built values you had to change they can add it to the Easy mode and include it in a future release of the software.

I believe Nick took care of that, but I will do.

For those that have the larger display and want square signs.

Try the following asbuilt codes.

720-03-02 -- xx4x xxxx xx
720-09-01 -- xxxx xxxx 8x

The first actually disables the TSR options in the IPC and the second enables SLIF, sounds contradictory, but it has worked on a few FX4's, lariats, and my XL with a IPC swap
I finally got around to testing this. It does work but there is a caveat here. This is not TSR but SSR aka Speed Sign Recognition. Traffic implies speed and other signs, Speed is just speed signs. It is also a different menu and other TSR functions like chimes are not available in the SSR menu. This actually subset of TSR, you still need to enable TSR camera mode in the IPMA to make it work.

I will add it to the main post but it will get it's own separate section and explanation.

So, I did this and my hybrid lariat lux does recognize and chime HOWEVER, it does nothing to adjust my speed up nor down - is it supposed?

No it doesn't adjust speed. It can be used to do so if you can figure out how to set up IACC (Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control). IACC does the speed adjustment but needs TSR to know what the speed limit currently is to adjust the ACC to the posted speed limit.
