Every time I look it is not in stock. Hard to believe there is not an aftermarket one.According to ford accessories website they have part# NZ6Z17D826C for the maverick hitch $305 and currently has 15% discounts on everything they offer
50 bucks cheaper than the hitch I had installed on my Impala and its larger to boot. For $100, I couldn't beat the factory installed one.
Ditto. Same scenario for me. I'll be jumping all over this when they're available.Add me to the list of folks hunting for a hitch and unable to find a darn thing.
The Maverick isn't rated for much more than the typical Class 3 hitch can handle, and those can be bolted on. Here's an example for the Bronco Sport.Correct me if im wrong but i think the hitch has to be welded on.that could be why you cant find one.thats the only option on my xlt for that reason.
I would have hoped Curt would have tested one already to confirm......still waiting. The Maverick isn't rated for much more than the typical Class 3 hitch can handle, and those can be bolted on. Here's an example for the Bronco Sport.
Class 3 Trailer Hitch, 2" Receiver, Select Ford Bronco Sport (curtmfg.com)
I originally wasn't expecting to get a hitch, but for $100 I couldn't justify not getting it.... So then I went out and bought a trailer.I added the hitch to my order as soon as I learned it was so expensive after the fact. $100 is a no brainer, even if I never use it. Sorry for those who didn’t get it.
