I’ve been experiencing the dash rattle as well after a few months of ownership. It’s slowly gotten worse. It’s not overly loud. It’s noticeable though.

Pressing on the dash, speaker grill and A-pillar seems to reduce it for a bit. It’s more prevalent on the passenger side and it had a small groove form on the A-pillar plastic.

I’m dropping the truck off for an appointment on Monday. Anyone that’s had this issue, have any luck getting it repaired?

Both of my dash speaker grills rattle as well. Mine goes away when I apply pressure to the bottom of the a pillar cover. It’s a common issue on these. Been meaning to address it

I endured a bad rattle for the two years I owned mine. It got a little better as the car warmed up but nothing I did fixed it. I never brought it in because my experience is that once the dash comes apart there's usually more rattles than you started with.

SAME! My new '24 is doing this and I only have 2k miles on it. It seems to be coming from the drivers side A pillar/speaker grill area. Mine is a "pop" or "knock" that's sounds very plasticky.

It's the #1 complaint I have about the truck.

Search for prior threads this has been ongoing. I cured mine with the corner of a folded business card trimmed off with an exacto knife between passenger vent and pillar cover. Someone claimed his was cured when he had windshield replaced but who really knows what else was touched at that time. Plus many other solutions. When I had my airbag recall done pillar trim would have been removed and replaced Then later when headliner was replaced due to exposed edges, trim everywhere was removed and replaced including the box behind the mirror. Still no rattle. I doubt my dinky paper shim is still there but maybe it still is?

I’ve been getting more rattle on the driver side. Pressing on the lower left of the windshield by the dash makes the rattle go away. I’m tempted to get some foam strip between the dash and windshield to see if it does anything.

It's likely the windshield alignment pins hitting the metal cab. A reseated windshield or cutting off the windshield alignment pins fixes that issue. There's more on that in this forum.

I fixed one of my more recent rattles. Found that the passenger side air vent was moving enough with vibration to have contact with the dash components. Placing a hand on the top of the dash was curing the rattle and so was holding onto the vent. I placed a tiny amount of foam under the gap between the dash and vent housing which is circled in the picture. No rattle after 2 days.

Ya know, I’ve never heard a rattle or any noise in my Mavs cab until I start reading these posts. Now I hear them all the time! 🤣

I took my 2024 MAV into Ford for 5k oil change and asked them to look into the dash noise (kind of a knocking rattle) I could hear on bumpy roads. The dealer ended up keeping my truck for 7 days (include weekend). On Friday they told me they ordered a part (??). On Tuesday, I called the dealer and they told me they had installed 'some pads' but there was still a 'little' dash sound.. I told them I needed the truck and that I'd bring the truck back at at a later time for them continue fixing the dash 'knock' . When I got the truck back, the 'knock' sound was gone.. I ended up driving the the MAV on 800 mile fishing trip that week and I didn't (and still don't) hear the knocking sound any more.. So the part they ordered and installed, it seems to have fixed the dash knocking sound.

I wonder how much of the dash did they have to remove to get those pads under there.
Has anyone removed their dash?
