    Hmmm great point about tonneau cover which makes me thank maybe mounting the thing on my back of the truck on the tail gate. That way I can unlock the tailgate while your standing next to it.

    Cheers! Yes I lock it and it does turn off after a bit of time - really an odd feature. On a side note: this thing makes some really odd noises after shutdown!.
