I work for one of the IT Depts for the University of Wisconsin and I can confirm the chip shortage is still very real. That's why the Maverick will for most have only one keyless entry key (XL and XLTs) and why the WiFi hotspot has been removed.

Except they’ve changed that and now all Mavericks will come with two keyless key fobs. Not sure about the wifi.

And I got my second 45-day notice this afternoon, like clockwork. Last one was sent on November 1st.

Meanwhile, I’m going to fix a few things in one of our vehicles before putting it up for sale as soon as I get confirmation that my Maverick gets shipped.

Actually, now that I have a build week, I find myself dreading looking at my emails for fear I will get more "it moved" notices from Ford like last fall.

I think the December 14 memo impacts can be summed up as follows:
- No meaningful change to the engine or trim order mix
- Created a possible new commodity constraint on SIBL
- More confusion for both dealers and customers

I guess not. I was expecting my 2nd 45 day notice today but I haven’t received anything yet. I ordered a XL HYBRID with a hitch so I will probably pass out if I get scheduled lol.

Well I got an email from Ford @ 4:25 pm EST but it was just my 45 day email. Interestingly this one didn’t say when I will hear from them again, just they will contact me as more information becomes available.

All I got for Christmas was a "we are still experiencing delays" email 30 minutes ago.

I am perfectly fine with that to be honest. I wish there was a way to tell @Ford Motor Company that my Tremor Lariat order can wait until June 15th with hopes things improve by then and someone else can get their first Maverick sooner.

Yea got my 45 day depressing notice today also. I'm up to 14 months waiting. Wonder how many more I'll get before they decide to build mine

Just called Ford mkt ctr. Have been sceduled for Jan 9 wk (original order of 11/01/21 cancelled and reset). Now set for date of Jan 12. Bradley was able to see that both my Private Offer and Farm Bureau certificates were entered and he said he would opt in my email so that I could get updates.
