I went with Line-X (Truck Builders in Lynnwood) and they did excellent work. I also know of a Line-X dealer in Kirkland, recommended by Ford of Kirkland.
Mine only has 1600 miles since purchase back in June and driven on an average of 20-30 miles each weekend. It sits for the rest of the week while I daily commute my other vehicle. So far no battery issues, but I’ll have to drive it more often.
I had gotten flashed several times, even honked at twice. I threw on my high beams to show them.
Rather have brighter lights than other drivers that have their headlights OFF while driving at night.
The first-gen Escape was sold under the Maverick name in Europe, having replaced the previous Nissan-based SUV.

The Maverick name hasn’t been used in North America since the 70s up until now, but Ford kept the name going mainly on overseas SUV and truck models (mostly rebadged Nissans for the EU and Australia).

Unless these “tough” guys on the internet forums and comment sections handed me a check of upwards of $50k-$70k to buy a “real truck” because they feel like they want to dominate my purchasing decisions to tailor fit theirs , STFU and enjoy your vehicle while I enjoy mine.
They can keep that one overseas. Not a fan of the wheelbase and short rear overhang proportions. Also that rear door window design looks to be a big blind spot.
