We recently had high gas prices before for YEARS (not a couple months) at a time because of regulatory policy. In 2022 when the minor incursion of Russia into Ukraine occurred, a gallon of regular gas spiked to about $5.00/gallon in the mid-Atlantic region. In 2012, the average annual price of...
This is nothing new. The Chinese government owns Chinese companies and subsidizes them. It is deliberate to undermine US companies. I believe Japan was doing the same thing in the early 70's and helped them gain a foothold in the US. Quality and poor management impact aside, it helps when...

initially replaced my OEM Michelins with Cooper Road and Trail, increased the size to 235/65/18. Mostly I wanted 3Peak rating and they had good reviews on Tire Rack. I thought the up size looked better, and the taller tire was a noticeable height increase. HOWEVER...
Decided to try and fix it. In the warm sun I pushed it/slid my fingers along the length of the window toward the gap and it stretched and closed up. Looks good now. I think I will keep it treated with 303 protectant to help keep it pliable and maybe reduce shrinkage and see how it goes.
Happening on both of my rear windows. 56k Miles so beyond the bumper to bumper warranty. Does anyone think Ford will cover this since it is a common problem? If you had it fixed, did it last or did they use the same parts? Has anyone been successful with another fix?
Some of the Maverick logged mpg loss was related to odometer/speedometer error with the larger tires. But it seemed like I was filling up more often over a few tanks than usual. Since going back, I am going further on a tank.

Gasoline consumption peaked around 2018 at over 143 billion gallons annually, dipped significantly in 2020 to ~127.7 billion due to pandemic restrictions, and has recovered to roughly 137 billion gallons by 2023. Consumption generally remains near or below 2018-2019 levels despite population...
I have 2 cars with it and hit the defeat button as soon as I get in the car. It can be abrupt if you are stopped and engine is off and you go too fast from break to gas in traffic for example. You end up on the gas before the engine starts, and when it does start, it is then very abrupt and...
