  1. Maverick Hybrid Died on Freeway this Morning - Completely Unanticipated

Ditto. Did the turn signal one without issue, was about to do the instrument panel one and started seeing all these limp mode post after getting that one done. So I'm staying away from it for now.
  2. Day after two recalls - dash lit up, D blinking on shifter, stopped restarted and then it was gassing on its own. 4 weeks later lane centering broke

Yeah, I canceled my appointment for the instrument panel recall. Apparently Ford still needs to work The kinks out.
  3. How Long Does The Rear Blinker Recall Take ?

As predicted, an hour and a half. Those of you with great Service Departments nearby need to thank your lucky stars.
  4. How Long Does The Rear Blinker Recall Take ?

I'll let you know, have an appointment at the main shop after two weeks of failed attempts to get them to schedule it with the mobile guys, including the mobile scheduling guy apparently quitting mid-stream? sigh.... Given my local dealer's well-deserved reputation, I expect it to be a...
  5. What's in Your Glove Box?

Not sure, I don't have one, sent the file to a buddy to print, but I think the specs are probably in the file.
  6. What's in Your Glove Box?

https://www.printables.com/model/506878-glove-box-divider-for-ford-maverick Also, just FYI when you go to put it in, you need to push in the two plastic stays on each side of the glove box (the ones you'd pop to access a cabin filter in most vehicles), and it slides right in. Close the box...

  8. Got a turn signal recall on my 23XLEBA51

How are you guys seeing this in the app? I got the recall for the blinker in the mail, but I still see nothing in the Ford Pass app about it. Where are you seeing that info, exactly?
  9. Mavericks In/Under Snow - Post Your Pics!

North Alabama has been shut down for the entire week because we got one to two inches of ice, something we're not equipped to deal with. After 4 days of this I finally took Lil Red out, got a chance to use the slippery mode for the first time, was quite pleased with how it performed! Also kind...
  10. 5 Windshield chips in the last 2 months!!

Check your SF agent, too! My agent told me you could NOT get zero deductible for glass, no way, no how, not something SF offered. Changed agents, found out of course you can, and the $ change was negligible. I got two chips within first 1000 miles, first one within 3 days of ownership! Second...
  11. Does Anyone Drive an EB Infrequently and for Short Trips With No Battery Charge Issues?

Got mine in early August, hybrid XLT, my commute to work 3 days a week is all of 1.5 miles each way. I usually manage a 30-45 minute trip somewhere once a week, other than that just routine kinds of errands. Knock on wood and at the risk of cursing it, no deep sleep, no battery issues. Mine...
  12. Truck dead again not even a week later!

Best I can tell this "Ford" guy just collects info, I'm assuming plugs it into a database somewhere. That's it.
  13. Plastic Interior 2024 Seems less easy to scratch

Ditto. My 23 XLT is just not seeing the scratches everyone complained about previously. I assumed like OP did that at some point Ford changed something up. No idea, just know mine is not the scratch magnet I expected, not even in the seatlbelt column.
  14. Windshield replacement

My current insurer doesn't offer zero deductible glass unless I pay for zero deductible on BOTH comprehensive and collision, no separate glass coverage. I'm about to hange companies, making sure I find one with glass coverage as a separate thing.
  15. Hard Seat Cushions and hard ride.

Perplexing to me, I have found the opposite, incredibly comfy ride, echoed by every passenger. Took a 6 hour journey with my stock XLT recently and everyone got out commenting that they were NOT stiff or sore, and all of us are geezers. More comfortable than any vehicle I've previously owned...
  16. My Maverick, The first week!

The Ford CMax, at least the one I drive for work, has an always-on battery charge level indicator, in the shape of a battery (like a AA battery, interestingly), shows the charge level and animates when you are braking to show the charge level increasing due to Regen. I really miss that feature...
  17. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

You can ignore the Ford account guy on here when he asks you to DM him. They're just collecting info and then giving a cut/paste generic statement about taking it to your local Ford dealer. Appear to be info gathering, to get ready for another recall or tsb maybe? Clueless.
  18. Surging when stopped. Anyone else?

Sent. Hope you have a solution!
