They can make power stations for charging but unless they can get through government red tape and approval they can't build plants that manufacture electric energy for every person that utilizes electricity..

The order number is irrelevant. You did not get the 2199th Maverick ordered. It is dealer generated and they use all kind of ideas to come up with it. For example at Long McArthur the order code is the initials of the sales guy plus a number. Maybe you're number 2199 at your dealer

Haha. Yeah. Sometimes you can decipher what number you are if it is more reasonable. I have an X139, which I totally could see being their 139th order. Or their 39th.Maybe you're number 2199 at your dealer
I placed my order on the 15th but went back this morning to add the black appearance package and the sales manager told me between their two dealerships they had over 600 orders.
My dealer alleges they placed an order, but no email. Dealer alleges that it will take 2 - 3 days to receive an email from Ford. At least you got the email from Ford. More than what I have.Holy Cow!!!

How did you get an order placed on a Saturday. All three dealers I have worked with says the only person who can place orders isn't working on the weekends. I must way until Monday. That is amazing you were able to find someone to place an order today. No luck for me.
I think it depends on how Ford handles batch processing. I know with our database, small files process per record faster than larger ones. If your dealer submitted 100 orders at once, it may take longer to process than the 10 another dealer did. And we don't know if Ford waits until the entire batch is processed before submitting confirmation emails. So, rather sending an email after each record is processed, they send them after all 100 are processed. This is generally because databases are not told to write after each record but at the end of processing the entire file.
when they 'sell out' the dealers will likely still take some waiting list orders and if the banks reopen they'll submit them with the approval of the potential buyer.
My order went in Thursday morning (16th). The dealer couldn’t get any through on Wednesday evening, the systems were too bogged down
Yeah, "The Order Received" e mail from Ford should arrive within a few hours to both the dealer and customer. Definitely not days.
