  1. TIRES Recall (Michelin 18” Primacy) for Model Year 2023 Maverick (issued 3/22/24, vehicles affected: 115)

Fortunately looks like the window of vehicle build is quite small (between 10/05/2023 - 10/10/2023). My Maverick has those tires but was built in July 2023 so not within the window
  2. First glitch with infotainment

In reference to my previous post, the dealer said there was a TSB for Sync/infotainment updates which they performed under warranty for me TSB 23-2307
  3. First glitch with infotainment

I got my '23 Lariat in September and everything was fine for a while but lately the last month or two I've had a lot of issues recently with the infotainment system. A few times its just gone black (audio keeps playing) usually along with the buttons not working. a few times Carplay doesn't work...
  4. Prevent your Maverick from being stolen

You’re oversimplifying it. The technology is not that simple. Otherwise this would be rampant.
  5. Prevent your Maverick from being stolen

Looks like some RAM trucks are vulnerable to certain kinds of relay/replay attacks, if the keys are within range (like less than 10 ft away). You can see in the video the thieves are at the front door and garage door trying to get the key to respond and capture. Yet another reason to not buy...
  6. Prevent your Maverick from being stolen

This sort of stuff is incredibly sensationalist. If a car has a chip key, there is no way to steal the car without YOUR KEYS (or towing the whole vehicle). I’ve heard of people with newer cars getting stolen… every single time it’s either because their purse/backpack with keys in it was stolen...
  7. COBB TUning Accessport for 2.0L Maverick!!!

Thanks for the detail on how the Ford ECUs operate. I'm more familiar with Subarus so that is different in a lot of ways. It sounds like you're saying the Cobb tune doesn't change target torque, boost, fueling, or ignition timing? Or are you just saying the Cobb tune does change those values...
  8. Service Manual available

If someone just uses ImgBurn to create an ISO of the disc, that's all we'd need
  9. COBB TUning Accessport for 2.0L Maverick!!!

@COBB Tuning just got my AP for my '23 Maverick lariat. 2 questions: 1. was there any consideration made for '23 Mav models with the tow package which has a different gear ratio? According to this thread its a minor change from 3.63 to 3.81. (Mine has the tow package)...
  10. Ohio Lariat Wheels

I have a set w/tires off my Lariat, but in Oregon. I could ship them, would probably be expensive
  11. Auto dimming headlights not working

I dont have any setting on my '23 Lariat to disable the auto high beams. They are very annoying...
  12. Driver's side floor vibration from wind?

I dont have this issue with my '23 Mav but I was out of town recently and rented a Bronco Sport and it had a terribly annoying vibration from the drivers floorboard when I was on the freeway. I poked my head underneath and the underbody panel was loose (broken clips or something). So, that's...
  13. Rattle in the dash (a minor yet major annoyance)

My '23 Lariat AWD has a very annoy rattle around the gauge cluster housing. Besides that though, its very quiet.

  15. BAP'ing Guide for DIY Black Appearance Package - Front Headlights Edition

Concentrated Zep just strips the chrome off? Interesting. You could just spray the insert piece flat/satin black though too right? Definitely a cheaper process than trying to source actual BAP headlights!

  17. Project Mav 2.3 is underway

Curious about an update on this project and what engine management changes were needed? I’d imagine just a tune, if the wiring swapped over easily
