Finally!
I had ordered on 8/28, then added CP360 and rear window on November.
Good thing I didn't remove CP360 earlier this week.

"We are excited to let you know your 2022 Maverick XLT has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of April 25, 2022."

Got the scheduled for production email today at 11:16 est. to be built the week of April 25th.

Ordered on Oct 9th, confirmed the same day.

Shadow black XLT EB, AWD, FX4, 4k tow

Removed the spray in bed liner back in mid Nov. so not sure how much that really made a difference.

I can not say that I am super excited because it was really a long wait, too much drama for a car.. (and the wait is not finished).
A couple of interesting points. The vehicle was ordered\confirmed by a medium-size dealer in south MA (Tasca Ford MA). I was their number 7.
I also ordered\confirmed the very same vehicle\configuration the same day from Chapman Horsham PA (no news from them).

And for whatever reason things are not easy for me with cars this year because just last week I received an email from VW about the loss of my car on a vessel being carried from Germany. The Felicity Ave actually just sank... so some more waiting for me there too..

I’m hoping maybe you’ll cancel your order and buy a real truck if you can afford it. Sorry friend, not trying to be rude but it’s the truth. This truck is intended for the low end but it’s not serving the low end b/c of silliness. +2 for pointing out my complaining about complaining.
If it was intended for the low end, there would be no Lariat, Luxury Packages, heated seats, B&O sound systems, lane centering, etc., etc.

Ford intends it to be anything that helps sell units. Ford intended not to sell many XL's and made it difficult for the consumer to stomach it so it could sell more XLT's and make more money. The XL was just there to make headlines and positive press about a $20K Hybrid vehicle.

If anything, Ford intended this to be the Mid-end. But ultimately Ford intends on making as much money as possible for its shareholders.

And even among MTC members who have reported, Lariat is nearly 30% and XL is under 13%. And we have a strong vibrant XL community. We may even skew XL over the general public.

So if the Maverick is intended to be on the low end, nobody got that memo. Maybe because you wrote it?

June 10th here. Next week will be month 9 without getting scheduled. I start a new job in August and moving at the end of the year. I was already told I'm getting rolled over to a 2023 but actually had a glimmer of hope that it wouldn't happen. At this point, there's a good chance I'm living in another state by the time my truck gets in.

I've been so angry with Ford the fast few months, that I'm starting to get numb to it and care less. Maybe that's a good thing.
Yeah, even when considering valid reasons for some later orders getting scheduled ahead of yours, there shouldn't be any excuse for not scheduling a 6/10 order in MY22. Ford still has May, June, July, August, and September production left to schedule.

I work in the industry and do business with them. I have no reason not to trust them.
If you know them well it's even easier to ask those questions.

Good decision not to drop CP360. I decided against it for my August order, too. (Don't have build date yet, though.)

I feel him. Yes other people have been waiting since June. They must be mad or sad too, that others have been ordered the exact same built after them and they were scheduled.

It is like cutting in line at the checkout. Everyone is mad, except the person who cuts the line.
I'm a December order also and wouldn't be irritated if I didn't see a ton of "Ordered the same build as you in January and got a build date the next week" posts.
I think all of the still waiting June-Aug folks are Hybrid orders. I ordered an XLT EB with no options other than FX4.
I'm not complaining but it still sucks to be left in the dark knowing that it isn't part constraints (like Hybrid orders) but it's definitely allocations screwing you over.

Got my hopes up this week when I emailed my dealer and they said my priority code got moved up. Didn’t get scheduled of course. I know I’m biased but I think a 6/9 order date should have been scheduled by now

I wish they would just tell me it’s not getting scheduled and is moved to 2023 so that there is an actual answer
