Got my truck back today, they dropped it off at my work, still need to inspect it and make sure my interior isn't covered in oily fingerprints. They said there was a pinched wire under the airbag. Hoping to more problems
Ford dealer did my airbag recall today. They called me and said that it was throwing a ton of error codes and wouldn't start. Thankfully, they are giving me a free loaner but I'm hoping something worse isn't going on here. Anyone else have an issue with the recall repair?
I used my points from two vehicle purchases to pay for the bulk of my SIBL at line x. The dealer subcontracted it so I could pay the dealer with points and they paid line x
I was able to use my Fordpass reward points from my mav and the wife's explorer to have the dealer sub out the SIBL to line x and bill the dealer so I could pay the bulk of the expense with points not cash
Thanks bro. So far so good. Will see how it does with some Blizzak WS90s this winter. We don't get as much snow as you guys, but where I'm at it drifts like crazy.
For my needs I say "What's really the point of the EB other than to get AWD?" I don't do much towing and would rather have had the fuel economy but living in the sticks in the UP necessitates AWD for me. Will be ordering the PHEV AWD version if it ever comes out.
For the huge difference in price I wouldn't use 93 octane over 87. Maybe if I'm towing but I'm not giving it full throttle and don't need the small amount of responsiveness for the significant cost increase. just my 2¢, YMMV.
Mine was built July 1st and arrived at my dealer July 28th, I drove it home the 30th.. Ford said it would be the 2nd week of August but it came 2 weeks before that. I live in the UP of Michigan and my truck went by rail to Wayne, MI before being loaded on a carrier to the UP. Four other Mavs...
4 in my small town, including mine. Mine is an FX4 XLT carb grey, there is another XLT non-FX4 the same color, a white XLT and a black XL. Not too bad for a town of around 14k population
