I have yet to receive any email from Ford. Ordered a EB LXT on 10/14/21. I have a VIN which I received in December by calling the dealership but at the time they said there was no build date. Called earlier this week and they told me their system shows I have a Feb. 16 build date. The weird thing is that I can access my order online via the Ford vehicle tracking status website, but the site only shows the VIN number and order confirmation date, nothing else. Does this sound right to you folks? I'm trying to not get too excited about the build date just yet based on stories I am reading here.

Long time lurker first time making a comment so I hope I’m doing this the right way. I’ve seen people comment in the past that a bare truck will get you a build lol that’s just not the case. I ordered October 8th an EB XL. Nothing on it at all, completely bare. No email today. I’m….. trying to learn patience. Sorry to all who didn’t get emails today either. This sucks.
Yes Patients. ⏳ You will get your truck, it's just the when thats aggravating.

Maybe not. If his dealer doesn’t get an allocation for his build, he won’t get it.

Captain Hindsight here! If I was an EB order from October or earlier and wasn't scheduled already, I would've put in another order in January just for the hell of it. Since all the recent orders are getting picked, you might've had a better chance. My dealer only required a $100 refundable deposit. I have a Lariat Lux hybrid so it was pointless for me. I did almost pull the trigger and order before the cutoff just so I would have one this year.
If you could have picked a dealer with no others in front of you. I feel that is why those are getting picked.
Mine is a 10/27 order, Lariat Lux 2.0 AWD, but too many ahead me of in line at the dealer.
I saw one Lariat Lux posted today that got picked, that was ordered in December.
I like my dealer as do many others, thus the line, I’ll just wait.

Another carbon gray build for the 28th with same options, must build the same trucks same colors and same options in batches the same day... cool makes sense.

Do you remember who your source was on that? Both of our trucks were shipped within a week or two of being built. One was a hybrid Lariat lux 360, and one is a hybrid First Edition, which was shipped yesterday.
Was mentioned in the Tim Bart’s YouTube video I believe

Guess that final inspection discovered a missing item that is not available or item that is damaged/not working and is not available. That would be a real kick in the gonads. :(

Today I am glad I am not Dennis Gerard.

I'm probably one of the sources. So are the other people on this thread who have reported the same thing. Tim Bartz talked about it in his video on Tuesday a little bit. And my dealer spoke to the regional manager about my truck and was told the same story.

At my dealer, a higher priced Lariat (like yours) was built and shipped after my cheaper build was produced and set aside. Anecdotally -- on that same thread -- I have seen several reports where Lux and Lariat trucks are getting built and shipped and other reports where lesser trims are not.

The unverified suspicion is that Ford is finishing and shipping the more-profitable trucks while letting the less-profitable sit. I'm not going to jump to that conclusion until we have more info.
