Knock wood, my 22 FX4 with all the packages and only 10k has been great. Local driving only getting 16/18 mpg but shoots way up on highway to 30/35 mpg using cruise and keeping it around 18/1900rpm 68/69 mph is great. Only issue was a freezing radio and doors locking when I get out of vehicle...
I don't care about humans , the back seat is all my dogs, she goes where I go every day. As for that cover looks nice and costly I buy a 30.00 cover on amazon and they last for years, just keep your dogs nails trimmed. when I see it starting to wear I replace it[ about every 2 years] and put new...
Looking good, is that blue or black my old eyes cant tell. My 22 FX4 with all the packages is going to be 2 on 5/28/24 time flew. Worth the 9 month wait, never waited for a vehicle before always bought off the lot. Local driver only [ retired ] 9700 miles will have 10k by its birthday and 3 oil...
Join the group, I got the latest software still happens 1or2 times a month, also replaced the cable with a better one, helped a little. I just reset pressing on/off and forward buttons hold down a few second resets radio till next time.
The dealer I worked for used to double the cost of the plan you chose cost them 1500 they would charge 3000, leaves them some room to negotiate. Big money maker for dealers.
Its a ford warranty saved about a 1000 bucks, you can use your ford points about 200 bucks I checked it shows up on my file when I go for service. Just don't wait to long they go by milage and time, I waited a year and cost me little more. All done on line.
Is cost a factor, they go from 200 to 1500, way back when I got my 22/FX4 we were limited to only a few, I got the ford soft tri-fold off the ford website on sale, it was about 400. Its 2 years old now and still looks new, I love the big ford emblem on the cover. Lots of options now depending on...
Never top off the tank in any vehicle, theres a hose at the filler at the neck that runs down to a carbon filter that traps gases and when you fill to the brim it fills that filter with fuel.
I had a piece of 1x10 shelfing its much lighter than 2x6s and much easier to remove when you need the whole bed. A little flat black spray and it matches the spray in liner and done. you can add 2 short pieces of fir 3/4 x2'' strip to ends so it don't move around in the slots.
I like this cover, it wasn't around when I got my truck or it would-be on it. I got the ford soft tri fold and it works fine very little leaking. I have had them all over the years of owning pick ups and they all leak some more than others. good luck with yours.
How could that get passed the factory People. Paint claims take a while there not very common and have to be approved by area manager. Did they take a photo of it.
I paid 31k for my 22/FX4 and got all the packages, no sunroof, plus a lot of stuff that didn't come in the 23/24 like real leather steering wheel, rear sliding window, digital fan, heated wipers. If ford added half the stuff that I seen in this post we would be looking at a 45/ 50k truck easy...
You can go much further with a Hybrid than a EcoBoost, no turbo. Either way if you intend to keep your vehicle a long time I think it would be foolish not to change your oil at least once a year. Its definitely mileage over time, I only drive 5k in my FX4 a year and coming up on 2 years on May...
I have the ford soft tri- fold on my FX4 with the ford emblem on it going to be 2 years old looks great and only very minor leaking, they all leak under high pressure.
Looking good, theres a few things you could do to get even better milage like use your cruse as much as possible set it for about 2k rpm with my fx4 that's about 70mph. I have gotten 38mpg on long trips. Also check you tire pressure often, when the weather change's so does your tire pressure...
There's no way there going to check the PTU or transmission fluid levels on a PDI were lucky if they checked the oil. I don't even think its on there check list. Most dealers don't even set the correct tire pressure, when I picked my truck up on my way home I said to my self boy this really...
