Don't laugh, back in the day I had a few cars done after I did the bodywork, sanded, primed and line masked them, they came out very good, they still got overspray on everything but what can you expect for 30 bucks, now you cant buy a QT of paint for that.
The numbers you guys are very impressive my new Lobo 350 miles is barely getting 15mpg, had a 22 FX4 that only got 17/18 around town which most of my driving is done, I did much better on highways 30/35 mpg. My 25 Lariat hybrid only got 30/35 mpg, which was fine with me. I know the Lobo has to...
No paint will match because on metallic paint the metallic binds and could be lighter or darker depends how much metallic in color, for 30 years I used the back of a match sharpened to a point the match absorbs enough paint and dab for small touch-ups or a artist brush for larger spots, build up...
Agreed spent hours looking an comparing gave up, you have to decide how much you want to spend first. I have a 400 hard cove and it's been on 2 truck's, works fine, looks good, don't open much. Got on Amazon over night less than half hour install, can stand on to clean roof..no leaks.like my...
At the factory they over inflate tires for transport, when they perform PDI their sopose to set correct pressure, check oil, coolant, set clock, check AC, things like that before delivery.
They over inflate tires in transport, 2 out of 3 Mavericks I owned were over inflated a lot, last truck l picked up was at 48, truck bounced around, knew what it was right away, fixed soon as I got home.
Like I said I got it delivered to my local dealership took 3 days, had it on 2 Mavericks and putting on my new one, never had any problems with it, it blends in with grill and looks much neater than than textured one.
I just got the black smoke smooth finish hood protector, it's available on the Ford website, I just got it last week, I had it on my 22 FX4 and my 25 lariat, am putting it on my 26 Lobo this week, it has saved my hood many times , you can see the dents in it that would of been in my hood.
Thanks for reply, we tried that at Dealer last week, when starting truck in AM its in dark mode with brightness all the way up and stays their till I take headlamp off auto
I have a new Lobo 2oo miles, my sync 4 screen goes dark in day mode can barely see, was fine first few days.
I noticed when I take headlights out of auto mode screen goes back to normal, dealers going to look at it next week.
Other than that and 14.1 mpg which should get better when broken in, I...
Had same problem on my 25 Lariat Google it, it explains HOW TO, still had problems, got pissed of and just deleted android auto, rather listen to radio. Sometimes a reboot of phone and system works.
I had a Dakota it had small v8 for 4/5 years that was a great truck, only drove it on weekends, [had a company car] changed oil once a year when I got state inspection, traded it in for a RAM with original brakes and battery, I drove through 6" of salt water one time, few months later the...
My last 2 Mavericks I bought from stock, they had sunroofs, I had no choice, my first Mav ordered back in 21 a FX4 lux AWD 4Ktow full size spare and sliding window, no roof saved 1000 dollars. I have to admit I have used it but it goes from cold to hot so fast one day you have the heat on next...
Again MR.Cherokee I have to agree with you, their JUNK, the only way I would is lease one for the length of the warranty and dump it, and you're lucky if it lasts that long.
SPEED KILLS, WHY is everyone in a hurry to burn $5 GAS, I love it when someone flies by me to get to a stop light than has to slam on brakes to stop, then does the same thing at the next light. I know none of you guy/girls would do that. Don't get me wrong I don't drive in the right lane at...
There are a lot of crazy people out their driving, speeders, tailgaters, road rages, brake checkers, reckless drivers, no signals etc. On the phone I don't understand I don't know a car these days that don't have HANDS FREE people just don't use it, was behind a woman it looked like she was...
The ford one is more BUT if you have points its FREE and covered under warranty for 3/36, which is no big deal it should last 3 years, am on my 3rd maverick and have tons of points.
So, till I use up my points, I will stick with ford stuff...
