You can repeatedly attempt to desulfate a battery, but its lifespan will be limited. You can only do a successful reconditioning a few times before performance degrades permanently. Repeated desulfation can damage the battery by causing it to overcharge, overheat, or lose electrolyte, especially if the battery's internal components are already deteriorated. Soft sulfation (reversible) may be corrected, but hard sulfation (permanent) requires battery replacement.I do have the noco maintainer and desulfated every month.... my AGM battery lasted only 10 months....
