In case you didn't read the thread that reached Saturn, one "temporary fix" that costs a lot less than a battery replacement is to get a battery maintainer and let in charge while it's in the garage or driveway.
These are available to run with either chorded utility power or with a solar panel if you don't have an AC outlet available where you park. It's not a actual correction to the issue, but it will eliminate the dead battery problem.
Why buy a vehicle you have to plug in every night to a chord? Bottom line the deep sleep/dead battery issues makes the Mav hybrid a lemon. Four times at dealer and no fix. This time they had it for 11 days and waiting for Ford hotline to come up with a new possible fix! Ford also paid for at least a dozen jumps and two tows. Why put out a vehicle with all new crazy electronics and not have it proof tested before? Horrible engineering.

I'm really wondering if there is a TSB to gives permission to replace with AGM, and perhaps they fudged a bit since close enough.
Great deal at least.
Seems like I read where dealer could substitute AGM of the flooded is not in stock or local warehouse.

Ford has been working on this issue for years.. There ain't no fix coming.
Indeed, we are just weeks away from 4 years from when the first Hybrid Maverick shipped in December 2021. If Ford cannot figure out the problem in 4 years, either they aren't trying, or it's very low on this list of priorities.

51 kw battery LOL Guess range would be rated at 150 miles .
So 10 miles less than dodge's mythical half ton plugin, coming in 2024 2025 2026 real soon now.

Why buy a vehicle you have to plug in every night to a chord?
Because they sound so much better an those plugins into a single note?

AFAIR, every single poster here that put in an NMB reported that it solved the problem (and also on the F-150 forum).

It took mine 3 trips to the dealer before it was fixed. The third time was a day after they returned it from me. They ended up giving me a AGM battery. Your situation is not unique. Work with the dealership. Mine eventually got it straightened around. It was just completed last week and all the issues I was having went away.

AGM battery doesn't fix the problem. AGM batteries are more durable, vibration resistant and don't lose electrolyte. They do not have a higher charge capacity or resistance to discharge. If there's a parasitic drain, it will kill an AGM battery just a quickly as a flooded wet cell battery.

Go to Auto zone and purchase a $230. Duralast Gold AGM battery with a 4 or 5 year no questions asked return policy.

I have a 2024 Maverick Hybrid with 47,000 miles. It keeps going into deep sleep mode. Brought to the dealer today. They said I need a new battery so it will be about $900. Told it is not covered under warranty. I thought the hybrid batteries were covered up to 100,000 miles.
900 dollars to replace a 100 dollar 12v battery? What on earth have we come to?

well I have this real life story - my years were up this October, had 0 probs w/ orig battery. Bought the extended warranty from granger. 2 weeks ago battery was dead, I jumped it, it fired right up . Figured that well it's 3 years old and winter around the corner so I'll go buy a battery and replace it on my own since a battery is a maintenance item. Looked at the work involved with replacing it and just decided to let the dealer do it and I'd just take the hit of probably around $400+. Got a call from them a few hours later saying yeah they tested the old one it for sure was pretty dead and that they put in a brand new AGM battery and also did some calibrations and it was ready to be picked up AND it was covered by my extended warranty so all I need to pony up was my $100 deductible. I really don't know why they covered it but I asked zero questions. So maybe they'll do the same for you.

Which extended warranty did u buy from Granger

Ditch the that Ford dealer, pronto! You have 2 batteries but they are not the issue. Your BMS needs to be flashed with a software update, then reset so the deep sleep message is cleared. Have another Ford dealer do this, it's all covered under warranty. I just had this done at a Lincoln (!) dealer.

I plug in my motorcycle to my Noco every time I park it, and the AGM typically lasts a decade.

Obviously the battery drain is a problem on some vehicles, but as others have stated, the fix for the actual problem has been elusive.
My suggestion was just that. An elusive parasitic drain can be solved by keeping a battery charged. If you prefer to continue with the recurring issue as is, that's your prerogative.
