Just installed this Rear Roof Spoiler. I think it’s looks great and can also help protect the paint of the rear roof if I need to carry stuff in the back (like lumber) resting against it.
Got it on EBay for $27. I saw the same one on Amazon for over $100.
It’s been rumored for about 5 years that Toyota is going to build a compact truck to compete with the Maverick. My bet is it won’t happen but if they do and can price it right, then we’ll see.
Ok it’s “Intelligent” right? Test that theory for yourself. Reset the oil life after driving for 8k miles, but don’t change the oil. See what it says about the oil life then.
Incorrect? What was incorrect about what I said? You can try it yourself if you want. Anyone can reset the oil life by going to the settings on the instrument cluster. Everytime you reset it, it’s going to show 💯 oil life regardless of how long the actual oil has been in the engine.
I did it one time because the dealer set it at 5k interval, and I do 7.5k. I got annoyed by the constant reminder to do an oil change so I reseted. Once I did, the oil life went back to 100% but I knew the mileage I was going to change it so I didn’t bother with its fake “💯 oil life”.
I change mines every 7,500 miles. I wouldn’t trust the oil life info on the App. It’s not a true reflection of the oil condition. It’s based on when the reset was applied after the last oil change. It’s usually set up for every 10,000 miles but if you reset it before the 10k miles it will think...
Just wondering if anyone with a Hybrid can tell when they had their brake pads replaced. I have a 2024 Hybrid with 29K miles and my pad still look like new. Would like to know how they’ll last.
They don’t have to remove the seat to get to the 12v battery. You lift the seat, and remove the plastic cover and the battery is right there. I’d argue that getting to it is just as easy as getting to a battery that was placed under the hood.
The cost of the hybrid battery is somewhere in the price range of $6k to $8k. The dealer is trying to reap you off. The 12v battery under the rear seat should not cost more than $200. You can get that done yourself or go to AutoZone and they’ll install it for free as long as you the battery from...
It’s minor enough to overlook. 99% of people wouldn’t notice it so as long the truck drives and functions well, I’d say you live with the minor fitting gap of the headlights.
The cargo net and mat would be great for when I’m loading my bed with groceries from BJs to take to the shipping company when sending food to friends and family overseas.
The card slit was probably one of dumbest ideas IMO. I mean say you put your store discount card or hotel key card in there and forget it overnight. Then some lowlife going around looking through the window see it and thinks it’s a credit/debit card. He then breaks your window to get in. Now...
I did the update because the back up camera on my 2024 hybrid had this freezing problem from the time I received it over 15 months ago. It took the dealer about an hour to complete and it solved the problem. Have not had any freezing of the camera since.
The MPG is determined my air temperature, driving speed, tire resistance, and load. Driving speed (mostly highway) and load was probably the biggest contributors to you low MPG. I get 44 MPG during the winter months and 47 MPG during the summer. However, I carry no load, and use it mostly for...
I’ve heard people I trust say it and didn’t have a reason to think they’re lying. Also, it’s not far fetched for our government to do something like this.
The truth is every car produced after 2021 are
I believe every car made from 2020 and afterwards are mandated by the Government to be connected to the network. The cost of this was probably included in the purchase price. A lot of people believe this was done so they can track us so law...
