how are we connecting to the negative terminal in this setup?Anyone know the size of the screw and thread? I was to attach a harness for my Ctek battery tender.
Thanks
Are there any other "bolts" that go to the chassis that could take the battery tender negative ring shank? From one of the earlier photos in this thread, these look promising. Although they look to be bolted to painted frame, I bet there is some bare metal involved. If there isn't.....nothing a wire brush or angle grinder or sharp utility knife could not fix. Ha!how are we connecting to the negative terminal in this setup?
i have purchased the Noco and am going to connect but that smooth bore of the negative has me perturbed.
maybe i;ll have some margs and go to autozone and eyeball some solutions
@Dad
I thought I saw on here where someone removed that whole designated stud and attached it under it. (I thought the whole thing unscrewed and he put it under the nut part of that stud.)Are there any other "bolts" that go to the chassis that could take the battery tender negative ring shank? I am confused. Please give me understanding. I looked at the above attachment, pg 282 and 283.
hey hey paneubert!
believe i tried one of those spots with an LED lightbar and it introduced a lot of EMI. Ended up using the horn as the negative. here's what i ended up doing for the Noco 2d. Not wanting to rack up miles on the Mav, been driving the Fiesta for the past 2 weeks. let's discuss!!!
this is how you jump a hybridI am confused. Please give me understanding. I looked at the above attachment, pg 282 and 283.
Instructions say "2 pins and shows illustration for hybrid". One is for the red jumper and the other shows a "-" symbol for connect the ground of the jumper cable.
So is that how to jump the hybrid?
