I have the same charger and drive it daily. When I put mine on (a Nico g5 multistage maintainer). I try to leave it on for several days maybe a week. Not necessarily continuous if I need to drive but back on ASAP. This allows the automatic optimization routines to run after battery is fully charged and replaces any drains ASAP. In order to keep battery topped off the maintainer needs to be at least 4amps (reported by someone here) to trickle battery and furnish current during the random charges. If you have OEM replaced keep the old one charge it and run a repair cycle one it then leave it on maintenance and swap with replacement when needed placing the removed one on repair/maintenance! Just a thought.
