Is eco better than normal? I ask bc I’ve read people getting best mpg in normal, and why wouldn’t normal be default for epa reasons?

go through the Burger Chef door and order at the counter and pay with cash.
Burger Chef????? Man talk about a time warp! My first job in the early 70s was in that burger chain store. I was in hog heaven, well more like moo madness. I was earning a 1.70 an hour and working about 30 hours a week during HS. It was great having money and I saved it for my own car. I really didn't make it known I had both a job and a car. I mostly rode my 10 speed around town to visit friends.

I finally had to quit after a new manager took over and started to slice into the family atmosphere we had going for a couple of years with the ladies up front and the guys in the back. He was nearly useless in the kitchen area and totally inept up front. But hey the corporation sent him to help us out so we tolerated him, until we couldn't anymore. I moved on to a different job and had to use my car to get to work after school. That kind of let the cat out of the bag. Friends were envious, but still friends.

So thanks for the memory lane walk. It was THE JOB! I learned teamwork, customer service and all the while working around some of the best people I ever did.

I have had my 2024 close to a year now. It is an XLT with luxury and black package. I really like and enjoy the truck. But as with most vehicles there always seems to be one item that bugs the heck out of you.
My one item: I can't believe Ford didn't put power windows with one-touch up. Ughh! Every time I go to a drive-through I curse that I have to hold the button while driving off. My 2013 CRV had one touch up and down. That is my one gripe.

What is your one pet peeve about the truck that you would change if possible? Just mention one please. :)
Dealer gouging. I'm pretty happy with things. At the price point it's very acceptable. I'd mention a couple of little items but you said "one".

I should've known this going in but for me, it's the easily scratched interior. Even if you look at it wrong, it finds a way to scratch. It's all over the trim around the grab handle. The plastic has no give whatsoever. Just cold, hard, brittle plastic.

Even if "it's only a $20K truck" that doesn't give them the right to use the absolute crappiest plastic in the world. There's a lot of $20K vehicles that use nicer, injection molding plastic that's soft to the touch and is more scratch resistant. For example, the Mazda 3, Honda Civic and Kia K4.

And speaking of plastic, it likes to rattle from time to time. It depends on the outside temperature. This has been a common complaint since launch. Once you hear it, it's annoying as f***.
yep - pretty much anything that gets rubbed against it ends up with a scratch. Saddest post I saw about this was a guy who just picked his up, took some of his son's soccer team to a meet and when he eyeballed it the next day there were scratches and scuffs all over the back door panels.

I love that I still have a key. They can throw those fobs out the window.

I cannot stand the truck shutting down at every intersection and I have to turn that off.

Android Auto does not support any of my apps. They only accept about 12 apps. What worthless software.

Only one???

Ford gave us weak CV axles that wear out under 50k miles. It's common knowledge, yet Ford just lets us fight it out with dealership service departments that obviously DON'T want to do warranty work...

I’ve never understood this complaint but maybe I’ve just gotten used to the box in vehicles today.

It definitely does push up so that the mirror no longer hangs down below the black box though.

It DOES NOT push up enough, your picture alone proves that is blocks half the windshield!

Are the CV's the same for '22, '23 and '24?

No. They have different part numbers.
