Sheetz sued one of our cities here. They was approved to build etc and started then got told pound sand and didn’t want them here, they went to court and won, the city tried claiming the council didn’t have the authority to permit them etc. but court basically said, you can’t tell them yes then change mind mid construction

Garden hose and a bucket. But I don't have to deal with road salt.

It was 39 degrees in the Milwaukee Area...

How about the ceramic spray rinse after the hand wash and dry with microfiber towels? Quite a shine and easy.

I don’t like the idea of spray rinsing angrhing

use water and foam to remove dirt then do that stuff. Otherwise you are getting abrasion no matter what

I still have a gallon of Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II that I love. I see now that their soap is now triple the price I paid in 2018.

Exactly right; I get it super clean but then a final rinse with the ceramic and then when I dry it gleams and water beads up and runs off.

I always take off the antennae before a drive through wash. My buddy with a Maverick Tremor did not take his off and it survived. Probably not great for the radio antennae right?

My favorite car wash is a FREE ONE!!!
It's a freaking truck not a Faberge egg.
The antenna survives just fine.

I found a ryobi 40v pressure washer at Home Depot with 2 40v batteries for like 130 bucks lol. it was tucked away in a clearance shelf. Snagged it, and I use it with a griots boss cannon, LUXURIOUS foam. (this pic was after) I just foam it, let it sit, then rinse/foam again and use a mit and bucket then rinse after.

Anyway, when you pair it with $3 gallon soap hyper foam from costco. it literally last me all year lol. btw I sold this thing, it was fun for few months, then instant regret, overpriced, terrible mpg, insurance was INSANE. 93 octane like 18mpg. fuk this car. sold it for 5k loss (tax/etc) and no regrets getting it gone.

that said it was cool driving a small little go cart. if I redid it, and had infinite garage space, would get a Mazda MX-5 Miata RF, they are pretty cool. much more refined than the toyota GR86. what's nice about the "boss" cannon, it has automatic dispenser tips inside it, so it auto foams, instead of diluting. just a nice thing to have. and lifetime warranty.

Here in the Lehigh Valley PA there are a bunch of places named The Car Wash On XXXXXXX. The one I went to was staffed by only one person whose job is to guide you into the entrance. After that it.s sit back and wait. You use a selection screen to choose your wash and payment is made with CC or cash. No tip jars.

There are 4 washes, from basic wash and dry to full wash, wax, undercarriage from about $10 to $19. I got the $19 and it came out almost perfect. Heavy salt deposits removed, car sparkly clean, no scratches, streaks, or spots. There were a few drops left but this was done at 8AM on a 24 degree morning so I ain't complaining.

I'll be using them a lot in the future. They have an unlimited plan I'll look into.
