My one pet-peeve is the voice in the back of my head taunting me… “When ya think them CV joints are gonna go out?”

Knock on wood no issues so far
My pet peave is the driving mode changing every time I turn off the engine.

Good job OP on a thread topic. Up to 8 pages in less than 24 hours.

My pet peeve is the SYNC 3 or whatever the hell it is. It barely adequate and frankly I wish there could be a plug-in upgrade.

My one item: I can't believe Ford didn't put power windows with one-touch up. Ughh! Every time I go to a drive-through I curse that I have to hold the button while driving off. My 2013 CRV had one touch up and down. That is my one gripe.
e. :)

Ya should have stepped up to a LARIAT.

Yeah- S/3 has been ok but this morning my whole info system blacked out for a few minutes while trying to attach a trailer- Fun not having the reverse camera -(

When I bought my 2002 Ranger I opted out of the power windows and power seats. I just wanted a basic XLT. When my wife got in the truck, her first reaction was the lack of power windows. I'm 59. Is that old?
You're on the edge my friend. On the edge.

I have had my 2024 close to a year now. It is an XLT with luxury and black package. I really like and enjoy the truck. But as with most vehicles there always seems to be one item that bugs the heck out of you.

What is your one pet peeve about the truck that you would change if possible? Just mention one please. :)
The Lariats have it, however on my 24 it rarely works. Already been to Ford to fix once and worked for a bit and now not working again so will schedule another service appointment. In the grand scheme of things not a big deal, just annoying, but I would like everything to work. Hope this gives you some insight.

Living in the great lakes north, the non ability to use a hand crank to open a frozen window is my pet peeve. Driving up to a postal box or any drive thru and not being able to open the window at all is frustrating.

Yeah I'm that old.
i was thinking the same thing!!. I remember having to crank the windows up at the drive through, then I thought wait a minute there were no drive throughs you had to use your legs and go through the Burger Chef door and order at the counter and pay with cash.

Burger chef. Oh man I remember those! I can hardly remember fast food places without drive-thrus now. I remember my first one though. An Arby's. I think the only place in my town with a drive thru was a bank.

Pet peeve #2. The slot by the dial shifter is too narrow. It only fits 1 card at a time. When I fill my gas tank at costco, I need 2 cards.

No reverse sensors on my XLT, hell my 2012 F-150 XLT came with them. Made it nice to know you were getting close backing into the garage or parallel parking.

My pet peeve is the weather seal on the top of the doorsill. I, and passengers sometimes, drag our shoe over it and cause it to fold under on itself. I try to remember and lift my foot more getting in now, but it still happens on occasion.

If you don't catch it and close the door, it squishes it flat and the rubber has enough memory it takes a while to flatten out again, once unfolded. 😫

I've gotten in the habit of checking the passenger side after my passenger departs just because I'm a bit anal. 😉

Should have gone with the Lariat trim level. All four windows have one touch. The only window that doesn’t is the back window.
