  1. 2025 Hybrid AWD underside pictures.

Pretty busy underside. Wouldn't want to do any rock scraping.
  2. What to do when you find yourself with too much camping sh1t…

It's an evolution. I'm to the point where I'm trying to get rid of a lot of stuff. And, I just helped a friend set up a new tent that almost set itself up- lay it down and pick up the center part and viola! I have a cooler that I can plug into the 120v outlet in the bed which is nice.
  3. What to do when you find yourself with too much camping sh1t…

Me too. It's nice to experience both ways; minimalist and a little more luxurious. With canoe camping you can have both. I wish the Maverick had a little longer bed for sleeping in.
  4. What to do when you find yourself with too much camping sh1t…

Camping is great. So many different ways to experience nature, friends and self sufficiency.
  5. Are Canadians going to stop vacationing in Florida?

I'm up for that. How about Pythons for Grizzlies?
  6. spectacular failure of Ford/Yakima roof rack

I never attached the canoe to the rack. I go fore and aft and to the anchors in the bed. Or, run the strap through the rear windows.
  7. What Wouldn't You Be Willing To Do With or To Your Maverick?

There's ways to get around that. A 17' canoe:
  8. Members who seem to disappear

Sanity is overated Sometimes my Mav is full of shit (aka; composted horse manure).
  9. Members who seem to disappear

If I sell my '24 it's because they came out with a SuperCab. My bitchin' is kinda redundant at this point and I don't have too many complaints. At 50mpg (local driving) I'm pretty happy. I'm thankful for all the tips and help. I was going a little crazy in the early days with my first Maverick...
  10. Best way to add/secure plywood sidewalls to Mav bed?

Hmmmm. Good idea but that would probably be overloading it. Make two trips or get a small trailer.
  11. Tonneau + Ladder Rack vs. Truck Cap

I like it but kinda pricy. I have some aluminum 2x4 channel I could do that with but sealing around the window area would be tricky. I suppose nothing a few tube's of caulk couldn't fix. Or, you could go el cheapo and use wood 2x4s.
  12. Engine RPM at 70 mph for Hybrid

As far as I'm concerned with my hybrid the 'bot does a great job. I've never had such perfection with the smooth operation.
  13. Engine RPM at 70 mph for Hybrid

This is the first vehicle in a long time that didn't have a tachometer in the dash.
  14. Any pictures of 2022 Maverick truck and 90’s Ranger side by side?

I liked my SuperCab and longer bed too but I think my Maverick is nicer. More comfortable fore sure. Perhaps they didn't make that configuration because the unibody couldn't hack the heavier loads that a bigger bed would enable.
  15. Interstate driving with a 2024 Maverick Hybrid?

My '24 hybrid does just fine for any duration on the interstates. I usually drive 65-75 but faster isn't a problem.
  16. Rocking a Load - hauling 1,200 lbs of rocks

I wish that bed was just a little bit longer for my bike (about 500lbs) but it does okay.
  17. Planning to buy a Maverick.

    SuperCab! Nice long bed.
  18. Hybrid MPG gauge too high by 5.6%

Mine was almost 2% high. Checked it when newer, haven't bothered since.
  19. Is Maverick 200k miles reliable?

The 2.5 does have that top end modification for the Atkinson cycle engine but otherwise, yeah. I'm happy with the port injection on the hybrid for its reliability but I am going to take a look at my fuel line before the rail on top of the engine per that post about its fail (that leak).
